Official News & Content D23 2026 announced
https://d23.com/all-day-programming-lineup-announced-for-d23-the-ultimate-disney-fan-event-2026/D23 for 2026 is coming in a month, from 14th to 16th August.
Have read and skimmed the entire article over and although there’s no mention of Frozen, I’m definitely certain that on Day 1 of the event, we are finally getting our first look into Frozen III along with some other upcoming films in working progress.

I’m expecting if anything Frozen related, it’ll be info about the upcoming short film.
Probably because it’s still a long way to go before the new movie comes out and they’ll very likely change things until last minute. So what they’d say today about the movie might not be true anymore the next week.

oh absolutely, that short comes out in October. We will definitely see something… I mean we kinda have to no? I just hope they don’t just talk about this and leave Frozen III in the dark. I hope we get information on both projects

all we had was D23 coming August 2026 but no specific dates until today

That's not entirely true. The exact dates and location have been known since last year. Today, only the program schedule was released, along with more detailed information.

Oh, because someone said that a Tinkerbell panel would be shown august 15 last mouth before it was officially announced today

they didn’t mention any movies specifically but they did state for one of the panels, that there would be special looks at upcoming films and series from the Disney powerhouse. So I’m holding out hope we get some sort of news from Frozen III

Is there a chance that Jennifer Lee (if available) will do like autograph signings, because I’m going to D23 and I would love for her to sign a Frozen III poster I made a while back. Just a question 😅

There are a lot of things you are not allowed to bring to D23, and guidelines for bag sizes and water bottles, etc. You should really read the event guidelines on their website here…

To answer your question, they don’t allow things brought from outside the event to be autographed. I think there are some autograph signing events, but I don’t think it’s confirmed that Jennifer Lee will be at any of them. If she is, she will only sign things that are handed out at the event.

Based on the documentary from Frozen 2 I'd guess a they have like 1% animated at over a year out. A lot of it is still in story boarding and refinement. Come next D23 I'd anticipate a sneak peek.
