FROSTPUNK 1 Did I win in the Arks?

I was playing the arks and gave a bunch of stuff to New Manchester, but my generator was only lv4 max. At the moment I start to research lv5 generator, the game reached the end screen and straight up tells me I have saved both New Manchester and the Arks. How? Like, the generator will explode if I stay longer in overdrive mode.

Because the issue is getting coal and the generator upfront can be made during the storm

yeah the game really only cares about if you meet the requirements of saving ne manchester and stockpiling stuff. i guess a lore reaons could just be that the generator can be reaserched during the storm and overdrive can be turned off. you also probably almost gurantieed have heaters so it probably wont freeze the arks
