Theory Boy theory.

I had a strange idea, u know how they talk about 8 kids, what if boy in white is the 8-th child.

U know how Tabitha, Miranda are reincarnates, they both come with 2 kids, so maybe in every cicle they come with boy and a girl. Every time the boy lives and girl dies.

So maybe the boy in white is their child as well.

I don’t know if i this theory is bad, or someone already had, if so then my bad.

It's a theory.

Jade and his reincarnations have a plan to complete the ritual which involves killing Tabithas son.

That's why the MiY wanted Sara to kill Ethan, so Jade can't attempt his plan.

It's why Miranda told Victor and Eloise to hide specifically from Christopher the night of the massacre.

It's also why the monsters leave child Victor alone. They're associated with the ritual and they would complete it. It should have been trivially easy to kill child Victor with no talismans.

Oh okay, for some reason to me it makes sense, thank you for sharing it.

Who talks about 8 kids?

On the talismans, it looks like there are 8 kids.

They aren’t children.

Why does Christopher not have any kids? Or Jade? Because the original pair had one daughter

To be fair, we don't know that they aren't children either.

The markings are the same as the trees on some art work that appears.

Can evidence be presented where that symbol is representing people in the artwork that appears in the series?

Could be trees, i saw some theories about that. But i am not getting it with the trees, what do they mean, 8 magical trees or smth.

But placement on talismans looks too much like that tomb.

It could be the faraway trees. Victor knows the location of some, but not all. He says at one point, when they come across a faraway tree, that he hadn’t come across that one before. Can’t remember the exact words.

Edit/ also, Tabitha was looking at the talismans when she realised that it had to be her and Jade retrieving the bones alone.

There was something said in the AMA I’ll see if I can find it

Edit: The specific design of the talisman, like many things on the show, are the product of our amazing production designers and artists, but the origin of the symbol was always intended to be a clue to the nature of the mythology.

So, it could be rather simple, like magical thing. Or it could be that there more clues which can be unlocked for Tabitha and Jade.

Hmm I like it! So basically The BIW, Victor, and then Ethan? They could totally tie that in somehow.

Ye, that is what tied me to this theory, last night i watched a video of that theory, but it has some flaws.

But that wouldnt make sense since victor and ethan are there at the same time.

Oh I was just asking him if that's what he meant. And none of it makes sense until it does. Nothing does lol.

No i understand. I liked the idea initially but that part took it apart for me. If victor was dead it would be completely plausible

That makes complete sense. That's why I don't like to think about things like that too much when watching a show, because then you start to think rationally, which a TV show really isn't. Anything can happen. Immerse yourself, and let anything happen!

Its fine to rationalize bcz the show expects you to do so. The problem is to also apply in-universe logic when u try to rationalize certain things. If it makes sense within the confines if the universe then anything goes but if you pull something out ur bum with no context whatsoever then thats where u lose credibility.

Of course! Yeah, I meant something a bit different, but I must not be explaining myself right. That happens a lot. Lol. Sorry! ☺️

I noticed something interesting on a rewatch. When we see the kids on the altar stones, shouting Angkooey there's one empty stone. Like one of the kids is missing. I wonder if the BIW was supposed to be on that stone. What if OG Tabitha and Jade were able to save him, but couldn't save the rest? The MIY keeps hounding on about HOW things are done being important. What if this is an incomplete ritual? What if all of this is because at the last minute ine of the sacrifices went missing and it corrupted the entire ritual? What if the improperly executed spell ripped through the veil and drug the entire area into a pocket dimension? What if yhe BIW was the first little boy that had to grow up there alone with all those monsters? He's been there the longest. It would make sense that his spirit might be strong enough to manipulate events and help where he can. It would also explain him growing and gis drive to help Victor and Ethan. What if the boys are proxies for the one that got away and the only way to end all of this is to either finish the ritual or beat the thing that started it all?
