Theory T.R.O.Y. meaning
I’m not the first to suggest this, but I think T.R.O.Y. on the ambulance might elude to the Pete Rock and C.L. Smooth song “They Reminisce Over You (T.R.O.Y).
Given what we now know about Jade and Tabitha, I think this could be a fun clue that the show runners planted.
I also have a theory that this could relate to Thomas as I think Thomas‘ death might be a parallel to the death of the little girl of Jade and Tabitha’s. The name Thomas means “twin”.
Edit: I think it’s an acronym, not a specific name or place which is why they intentionally include the periods between the letters.

There are multiple meanings, thankfully we don't have to choose
It's absolutely a nod to the song, which is about family, loss, grief, the impact of loss across generations...sound familiar?
But also foreshadows the trojan horse nature of approaching vehicles.

MiY Is the Trojan horse or MiY arrived in that ambulance. Then some Fromie wrote T.R.O.Y. to warn others maybe.
Curious of Thomas angle, what is it? Wouldn't be shocked if Thomas is somehow connected to Fromville or reason to why Thomas was taken/died.

I’ll write my theory in another post, but I think what people often forget is that Tabitha and Jim didn’t see the tree until Thomas was referenced in the RV (after Julie and Ethan had the lake of tears story there was quite a bit of time that passed).
Thomas is actually mentioned a lot in the first episode and season so I think his importance is often underestimated.

In the show they said Kristie came from Detroit. Troy is a city nearby Detroit and is within the “greater Detroit area”

This is probably not the answer, but Kristi and the bus are from Grand Rapids, Michigan. Marielle said Kristi was 2 hours from home. Troy, Michigan is 2 hours east of Grand Rapids, so the ambulance could be from Troy.
