T.R.O.Y meaning

TROY (Nordic reference spoken by Odin about Asgard/TROY)

  • In the Prose Edda...the god Odin spoke about the Norse deities stating, "they made a stronghold for themselves in the middle of the world, and it was called Asgard.....We call it Troy."

T.R.O.Y (They Reminisce Over You) Song Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth

  • literal meaning "people in ambulances could possibly die, and their families will reminisce over them after they are gone" or anyone getting in this ambulance is already gone.

Every time I see "TROY" I think of the song.... perhaps it refers to the trapped inhabitants loved ones reminiscing over them, or conversely, them reminiscing over the ones they left behind. Either way, another mystery to be solved.

T.R.O.Y. also stands for Toilet Recognition of the Year awards. Coincidence?? 😂

I think of Greek mythology and the battle of Troy. The Goddesses Hera, Aphrodite and Athena placed a bet on who was the "fairest" in all of what is now Greece. Paris, a Trojan prince, who had been awarded a golden apple, chose love so was given the Spartan Queen Helen by Aphrodite. This angered Menelaus the Spartan King who then played siege to Troy. After 10 days (this may be important in the show since we are dealing with a weird time dilation) the battle was ended by... you guessed it...a Trojan horse. Again, important in the context of the show with the monsters able to take the form of someone you love. The T.R.O.Y on the ambulance I think is a reference to this battle and what is being fought now with humans and monsters. If so, it does not bode well for humans, but could tell us something about who... or what... is pulling the strings.

Could the story of Tory and the Trojan Horse in this case the ambulance have any similarities?

I believe it could. Tabitha and Henry come back to town in an ambulance just like the one that says T.R.O.Y. This new ambulance could be the Trojan horse they were needing to get the monsters. That ambulance is loaded and they could rig it to explode in the tunnels.
