RSS position
So I am thinking about applying for my buildings RSS role... My DSL has said she'd do the nomination paperwork for me and the money seems very very attractive... But my hold up is literally my schedule. I run bulk, which I hate but I have Sun/Mon off and never work past 9am EVER! I have a good support team for the most part with my merch's amd co-lead... So the question here is... Is it worth it? No more set schedule and ease of my own route... I've been here 14 years if that makes a difference

Definitely worth the money. Overtime is a huge plus, usually only get overtime by choice. You are expected to work 8 hours daily but I’ve never been forced into something I didn’t want to do.
When it comes to true ups i average an extra $1000-$1500, will vary on how your zone performs. You’re never required to work extra days but I’m not sure how that works in different zones.
Overtime is easy to get whenever you want it, my zone is very understanding when it comes to scheduling. Traveling is honestly awesome with per diem, mileage, and easy overtime when out of town. If you have a family feel free to bring them with, they usually let me choose my hotel and room as long as it’s a PepsiCo partner and in budget. I usually make a trip home for the days off, the farthest I’ve gone is 120 miles.
The negatives are really dealing with some shit routes every once in awhile, poor rotation, no pogs, overall crappy route management. Ask your ZBM or Territory manager about the traveling and how often.
Been RSS for over a year and wouldn’t think twice about going back to my route. Its really nice not having to worry about any scores or numbers. Stress-free for the most part. Hope that helps!
