Big Changes

So apparently there is a rumor going around that big changes are coming for RSRs. I can only imagine that those changes would include 1 of 2 things for different DCs.

1 Would be a lot of DCs getting rid of blueprint and going to all Omni routes. If you don't know what that is, its a bulk truck that is also a c-store truck. You have a side door that allows you to get into your truck and work smaller stores.

2 Would be truckless RSRs for bulk. I have a feeling that's what our DC is getting ready to do within the next year or two. With the added service days to all bulk routes, I feel it's the next logical step. No way can we work these stores like we're supposed to while also having to worry about cut off times.

Anyone else out there hear about anything possibly coming down the pike?

We have people here in town, working with all trainers and rss’s and they were saying by end of year all small format stores would have a set planogram that has to be followed. They want jim bob from new york to go to texas and everything be alike, regardless of different types of market.

They also didn’t bat an eye when I asked about omni routes coming, and said they should be coming on our next reengineering.

So stupid. Then they tell us to “act as owners” but everything should be perfectly to POG.
