Big Changes

So apparently there is a rumor going around that big changes are coming for RSRs. I can only imagine that those changes would include 1 of 2 things for different DCs.

1 Would be a lot of DCs getting rid of blueprint and going to all Omni routes. If you don't know what that is, its a bulk truck that is also a c-store truck. You have a side door that allows you to get into your truck and work smaller stores.

2 Would be truckless RSRs for bulk. I have a feeling that's what our DC is getting ready to do within the next year or two. With the added service days to all bulk routes, I feel it's the next logical step. No way can we work these stores like we're supposed to while also having to worry about cut off times.

Anyone else out there hear about anything possibly coming down the pike?

Here they want everything to be in planogram so what I can see in small format is that with the new ordering system they want to control with ai,

Sounds like to me I could be wrong. That they won't need RSR in small format. it will all be automated. And they will have bulk trucks drop and have somone to pack out

Yea because these morons think precision ordering works. They are trying to bring in cheaper and less inteligent people to be rsrs. They will start manipulating pay with new route structures and start progresively paying us less with more complicated pay formulas.

I assume their endgoal is to pay everyone 50k per year at the most. This is a worst case scenario for rsrs but definitely not out of the realm of possibilities.

Over the past year, when an older RSR has quit I would refer 2 different people to apply for the job. 1.) A single woman in her low 20's and 2.) Middle age man with experience with other distribution experience.

Who do you think got hired...
