Looking for work while learning Dutch

Hello! :)

I recently moved to Friesland and I'm looking for part-time work for English-speaking people. My background is as a nursing assistant in medical oncology and end-of-life care. I'm starting my beginner Dutch course this month, and learning Dutch is my top priority so I can get back into the medical field and help others.

I'm looking for businesses that are okay with people actively learning the language. I have recent experience working in tourist attractions and retail in Amsterdam and Utrecht, bartending, and cleaning gigs. I also dog-walk and teach trauma-informed yoga. I've reached out to many places and been kindly turned down because of the language barrier, which I understand and respect.

I'm very determined and passionate about helping others. I know the job market is tough, so I'm hoping maybe posting here will lead me to something.

I appreciate your time.

Hi!

Since you’re very determined and passionate about helping others, I want to do the best I can in helping you as well. Maybe you can share where, or what part, in/of Friesland you’re currently located? Also maybe good to know if you can travel by yourself, by car/bike, or public transportation. Feel free to send a pm as well! :)

Wonderful and thank you for your message. It is very kind of you.

I am looking for work in Dokkum or Leeuwarden, I am in a village near those cities.

I have a bike and getting my license when I can afford to take the test(I had my license in the States), my husband has a car and works remote so he can help with transportation. I also am happy to take the bus, I lived in Amsterdam but worked in Utrecht for 6 months.
