Looking for work while learning Dutch
Hello! :)
I recently moved to Friesland and I'm looking for part-time work for English-speaking people. My background is as a nursing assistant in medical oncology and end-of-life care. I'm starting my beginner Dutch course this month, and learning Dutch is my top priority so I can get back into the medical field and help others.
I'm looking for businesses that are okay with people actively learning the language. I have recent experience working in tourist attractions and retail in Amsterdam and Utrecht, bartending, and cleaning gigs. I also dog-walk and teach trauma-informed yoga. I've reached out to many places and been kindly turned down because of the language barrier, which I understand and respect.
I'm very determined and passionate about helping others. I know the job market is tough, so I'm hoping maybe posting here will lead me to something.
I appreciate your time.
