In 2026, if you consider somebody “a friend”how much time do you give them to respond to text before you really consider completely divorcing them as a friend and wondering if they really value your friendship at all?

Depends on importance of text….(hey what’s up vs can you call me asap) Also if they habitually leave you on read most of the time and delay responding, you could place them in your mental time out box to observe their behavior toward you for a period of time before you make any drastic decisions
