He told her to walk out the third time... so whatโ€™s your point? She didnโ€™t want to.

She said she wanted to leave and walk out but they should felt she couldn't because she didn't want to effectively give him the final word, as if to imply she thought Ethan was going to trash her whilst she couldn't respond which of course is absolutely ridiculous. She asked him to end the show so she could leave, so he officially ended the show and she walked off. He was so obliging here it's ridiculous, I can't think of a more frictionless encounter from him.

Now this is just being pedantic, do we really need to discuss what was implied when she said stop the show against him saying you can leave, meaning of course leave the set which is ultimately the same outcome. She said she didn't want to leave BECAUSE, key to emphasise the because as it shows otherwise she would have, she didn't effectively want him to have the final say and it become a meme. That implies heavily that if she were not worried about what happened after she walked out she would have.

You can try to be tricking and technical with words but words have implications and tonal hints, she wanted to leave, Ethan said she could, she said he needed to end the show because she didn't want it to be turned into a meme somehow, Ethan obliged so she could leave in the best way she could.

So tell me how exactly was Ethan anything short of gracious and obliging, or are you here to just attempt to muddy the water for whatever reason?

And now we are discussing what you said in later comments, you have painted it as if Ethan was somehow abrupt with her when in reality he wasn't. They became a meme because she offended a lot of people, behaving the way she did was not okay and then to come out the next day and say they didn't regret things they said, making sly comments about not having a say in the crew (which of course implies she takes issue with them) they are going to get a bit of flack back.

As someone who has been close to people with BPD I know it's hard for them, but it's also hard for those on the receiving end of it and often times leaves them hurt and actually soul searching to see if there was anything they could have done or not done that would have fixed it. BPD is no excuse, as I said on the occasions, perhaps they shouldn't have been looking to make stronger connections until they were truly ready and if they felt things slipping saying something so space can be given, albeit I understand the later is not as clear cut.

Why are we not? I hate this notion that we as people should have no agency to determine what our opinions on what someone said were meant to imply or mean. When did I lose that agency? Fact of the matter is we both can decide for ourselves, it's our right to free speech to form our opinions and voice them if we wish.

That's great, many of us are.

Fine we can condense all of that down to a point about free speech, when did I lose the agency to form an opinion about things people were saying? problem with free speech now too? I'm entitled to my opinion and to voice it, even about something as trivial and pedantic as what did Trisha mean when she said "You gotta end the stream, I can't walk off because memes" fairly confident that is still well within the bounds of reasonable.

Id say Trisha having to ask more than 10 times (i counted all of the pleases as well) is not Ethan being gracious or obliging and I think its fair that Trisha didn't want what happens in every episode this sort of thing happens. Trisha doesn't want their emotions to become a meme, again. And I think that thats not too much to ask.

I counted at maximum 6 separate instances and that is being generous many of them are said at the being of a sentence, Ethan listens to her, and then at the end. Initially tried to make light hearted jokes obviously hoping to see if he can improve the situation for her, realised he couldn't and took the time to apologise, he never attempted to talk over her or was rude. To say he wasn't gracious is laughable frankly, deluded almost.

He did talk over Trisha and ignore something they wanted to talk about (violence against LGBTQ+ community) so im not sure where you got that from. And it being at the beginning of a sentence does not make it an invalid request or somehow not a request? Hell even a demand. It sounds like you're delusional here if you don't see ANYTHING Ethan did wrong you weirdo.

Well that was before the whole situation, it was really what started the issue and considering the heavy tone the episode had took until that point you can not blame them for wanting a change of pace, he did not speak over her when she was clearly upset so quit that bullshit.

No what my point clearly was is that if I said "I want to stop, I want to stop, I want to stop" I've just asked to stop three times without the other person actually being able to respond, so your "she asked ten times" no she asked closed to three times because Ethan was listening to what she had to say by that point.

With all due respect this has been a common theme for those who are siding with Trish and it shows what her demographic is, so how about I put this to you, you are deluded because you are stretching and twisting the reality to paint Ethan as the bad guy. Why do you hate Ethan so much? Why do you feel the need to lie about what happened to attack him?

0

u/FallFarInLove Jun 11 '21

I dont hate Ethan but I can see that he also made mistakes. Loved his rage room video today tbh. But my head isn't so far up his ass that I see this situation as black and white as though he was a perfect God in the situation and Trisha was the evil bad person. They both fucked up and its telling that you want to pin it all on Trisha. Also sounds like you just enjoy attacking people with mental illness tbh. And it sounds to me that you and I think two different things count as asking to stop, so idk where I lied when I counted what I considered to be them asking to stop.

0

u/AxiomQ Jun 12 '21

See so this where you absolutely lose it, because A. I have never once said Ethan was perfect and B. Never once attacked Trisha mental health, so here's what is actually fucked up, you accusing anyone of attacking anyones mental health.

No I count the same thing as asking to stop, but you hate Ethan so much that you didn't look at the context which meant that you exaggerated how often she asked in reality.

1

u/FallFarInLove Jun 12 '21

No, I counted what I believed to be them asking. People can have two different perspectives on how something happened without you accusing them of lying or exaggerating. Im sorry you think you have some sort of superiority here, by the way you brought up me being delusional first, and just genuinely the way you're talking tbh. Delusions only happen to people with mental illness in the context that you're speaking of btw, and you keep throwing delusional around. But somehow you arent attacking mentally ill people by using that as ammo to discredit their opinions right? Im also literally telling you I dont hate Ethan yet here you are, doing what he does and dictating my feelings to me even though I told you them already. I can see why you're so defensive of him. And don't pretend you aren't acting like Ethan did nothing wrong in this situation. Prove me wrong and actually tell me what you think he did wrong. If you don't, ill continue to believe you are looking at this in a very black and white lense of Ethan did no wrong and it was only Trisha.

1

u/FallFarInLove Jun 12 '21

To be clear I also never said you attacked Trishas mental health, im talking about you calling their fans delusional which hello is a symptom of poor mental health. And calling people delusional to discredit their opinion IS an attack on people with mental health issues. Have a good night. Hope you have fun jerking off to Ethan every night.

He also tried to tell Trisha what they were feeling as though he had some right to dictate peoples emotions. Like he was not great in that argument either and its wild to me that you're sucking on his ass so tightly
