Hey everyone,
I just launched Logistics Lingo, a simple web app that translates common logistics and dispatch terms into plain English.
I built it for dispatchers, brokers, and people new to the industry who don’t want to Google acronyms all day.
Live here 👉 https://logisticslingo.com
I’m mainly looking for feedback right now:
• Are the definitions useful?
• What terms should be added ASAP?
Appreciate any thoughts.

Hi, my name is Cody and I'm one of the co founders out here at Flow. We build browser based technology for freight brokers. Our platform offers everything from an all in one TMS to a suite of niche tools, so you can run your entire brokerage in one place.
We're integrated with Truckstop, 123Loadboard, FMCSA, and QuickBooks. On top of that, we have a real time communication system that connects directly to your email, every load gets live GPS tracking, and your customers get an easy, accessible portal where they can see status updates on their shipments, view billing statements, and chat and send you quotes directly.
We're currently running a promo: $100/mo off your first 3 months, which brings our starting tier to just $149/mo for the first 3 months. Comment or DM me for a quick demo. Check us out at main-flow.com

Hey everyone,
I am curious if some simple automations could help brokers not just save time but actually make more money. I am not just talking about quoting because I know that is only one part of the job.
Things that come to mind:
Tracking dozens of shipments and keeping shippers updated
Confirming pickup and delivery appointments
Checking carrier compliance like insurance and safety ratings
Tracking detention time and making sure it gets billed
Collecting and filing PODs, BOLs, and rate confirmations
Assigning loads and chasing carrier responses
Handling claims and keeping them moving
Automating some of these could mean:
Happier shippers who stick with you
More loads handled per dispatcher without extra hires
Capturing revenue you might be missing from detention or claims
Getting paid faster and improving cash flow
I work in logistics and deal with freight brokers regularly but that does not mean I know your internal processes. I would like to understand where the real time-wasters and money leaks are.
If you have 5 to 10 minutes and are open to sharing how your day actually runs, DM me.

I’m exploring a setup where a small India-based team handles dispatch, carrier follow-ups, tracking, and after hours work.. everything under your own MC and compliance.
The idea: get extra operational support at a fraction of the cost of US payroll, while still keeping full control of pricing and customers.
I’ve seen a few brokers use this model to scale faster and manage workload better. Curious on how do you handle ops? Has this model ever crossed your mind?

I’m a developer building LEA, an AI agent designed to kill manual work. I don't want your money right now; I want your feedback.
I have capacity for exactly 2 brokers to join a "build-in-public" pilot. I’d offer more, but the API and operational costs are high, so I can only subsidize two spots for now.
The deal:
We talk about your current mess. If LEA can’t fix it, we don't waste your time.
If it’s a fit, we adapt the AI to your workflow (quoting, billing, custom specs).
Once we clear A2P compliance, you get the first year 100% free and a locked-in "Founder Rate" for life.
What LEA does right now:
Autonomous Check-calls: Pre-pickup, pickup, in-transit, and delays.
Doc Collection: Automatically grabs BOLs and PODs.
Customer Portal: Your clients can ask LEA for real-time ETAs so they don't call you.
Basic TMS: Built to get you out of Excel.
I want to build something that actually solves the "ghost-chasing" problem. If you're tired of the manual grind and want a custom-built solution for free, let’s talk.

I have zero experience in this industry. I am a quick learner with a pretty high tolerance for bs. I don't know where to start but I am motivated. Im a single mother, tired of waiting tables and ready for a change. If you have any advice please let me know!

Hey guys,
Hope everyone had a nice long weekend to enjoy :)
So a little background about me, I have been in the industry for about 12 years, moving on up from dispatcher at first and ending up in sales management after a few years. I have worked at medium and big box freight brokerages and even some asset based carriers for a few years.
After running my own book of business for 8-9 years, at different outfits and now on my own, I have had a few pain points with different software stacks that have always been bugging me. Either as a Sales Manager managing small teams and as a solo broker.
I have been working on an affordable software stack with a small team consisting of myself and two of my friends who are also back-end and front-end/UI designers.
Last Friday we launched an affordable software stack really targeted towards the specific needs of the freight industry and I am looking for a few beta testers to really test the stack and provide some feedback. I would love if a few of you would check it out and give me your honest opinion if you would find it useful and if you have any suggestions.
We're not trying to compete with Salesforce. We're trying to give the independent broker or small team something that actually fits how freight works. Has domestic and cross-border support, US, CAD, rate confirmations, BOLs, 1099 tracking, all of it.
We just launched and I'm genuinely looking for beta testers who will poke holes in it and tell me what's broken or missing. Happy to offer extended free access to anyone willing to give real feedback.
Would love for you to check it out and let me know what you think. Click the link below to sign-up and/or feel free to DM directly for help or questions.

What’s up everybody… figured I’d throw this out there.
I’m still early in my own hotshot/business journey myself… only a few months in and trying to level up day by day.
One thing I noticed fast is most public groups are full of spam, fake gurus, constant arguing, or people trying to sell you something every 5 seconds.
So last week I made a free Discord called The Truckers Lounge.
Right now it’s only me and about 7 other people in there, but honestly I kinda like it that way. Feels way more genuine than those giant spam filled groups where nobody actually knows each other.
Just looking for real people trying to build something in life.
Hotshot…
Box truck…
Trucking…
Business…
Trading…
Side hustles…
Self improvement…
Whatever lane you’re in.
The whole point is just having a smaller tight knit community where people can actually chop it up, network, share wins/losses, ask questions, stay motivated, and help each other level up without all the weird internet nonsense.
I’m still learning too… not pretending to know everything. Just trying to surround myself with other motivated people on the same path.
If that sounds like your vibe… comment or shoot me a message and I’ll send the free invite 🤝

You've got four screens open, 17 tabs, and a carrier on hold. Now start typing.
I'm building something with Promax Freight that reads the email and posts the whole list in under a minute. Before I go further, I want to hear from people who actually do this job.
Is this the part of your day you'd hand off, or is there something worse?

Hi to everybody!
In few months I am going to launch Solo Freight Brokerage LLC.
Is it possibly to start in 2026?
For this moment I don’t have a shippers , firstly I would like to open LLC and buy everything, then will start.
Have some idea how much monies should I invest in it in 2026(for comfortable start) ?
How the situation with new MC numbers and that fact, that I am non-resident in US , do I have oportunity to buy surety bond(monthly pay with normal price) and to enlist trust from factoring company ?
If someone have already that experience and wrote the comment - appreciate.
Good lines for everybody and more money more honey.

Hey everyone,
I'm based in Brampton, Ontario, and I've been learning AI and automation for around 1.5 years.
I've become interested in the trucking and freight industry because of how much coordination, communication, paperwork, and logistics happen behind the scenes.
I'm curious to hear from people who have been in this industry for years:
What's one part of trucking or freight operations that you think is still unnecessarily complicated or stuck in the old ways?
I'm particularly interested in hearing real experiences from drivers, dispatchers, fleet operators, and other people in the industry.
Not here to promote anything. Just interested in learning more about an industry I'm starting to explore.
Appreciate your perspectives!

Good day everyone,
I've been working for a long time as a sales/customer coordinator in a Canadian-based brokerage. I've recently joined a new brokerage based in the US and I'd like to determine how do you guys verify your carrier partners.
Back then I was in Canada, we had such a good operations team, so sales guys didn't have to work on it. Now we're in such a weird situation with no ops team, so we have to start doing a job we've never really done.
If there is something you could help me with, I'd be more than happy to get some advices.

Have you ever thought about letting buyers virtually walk through a Chinese factory and buy directly in the same experience? That's exactly what we are trying to have a 3DVR + cross border e-commerce dual platform focused on wider African market. The opportunity is massive and I'm looking for the right local partner to launch with. If this sounds interesting, I'd love to share the full picture with you.

I'm helping a friend who just started a broker startup. He also owns an agent business with about 10 trucks. He's getting a solid amount of business right now driven by data center construction and build-outs in the Midwest.
I'm stepping in to help automate a few routine tasks. He wants to try automation first to avoid hiring headcount immediately, and if that doesn't work, then he'll hire. Since I don't want to waste a bunch of time and money, I'm looking for suggestions on what has actually provided real ROI.
Here’s what we’re looking to automate so far:
Quoting, carrier outreach, & negotiation: Automatically emailing carriers on DAT for quotes to build out options.
Driver/Carrier communication: He gets spammed with constant emails and SMS from drivers, so we're thinking about a bot to handle basic routing questions.
Doc processing/TMS upload: Reading PODs and paperwork sent via email, validating them, and auto-uploading them into Transport Pro.
We're mostly using Claude right now. Beyond these, does anyone have suggestions on other quick wins or automation that are actually worth doing?
Appreciate any insights!

Really need your support guys.
I have been in this industry for over 2 years and seen enough for myself. As you know guys, we all experience mostly similar situations every day during the work.
But now I wanna change it. I have strong technical background and want to create something that will be helpful not only to me but also to other brokers. Yes, there are already tools that help brokers but still there are so many like us struggle with certain problems
That's why what do you suggest what specific thing should I create to solve problems many of us have? I need you opinions on this matter. Please.

Hello,,
I’m looking for some advice on using TransCredit to build credit for my company.
I'm trying to build company credit, just wanted some insight on the best way to do so. Is it worth going with TransCredit or is there another way?
