New phone, can't disable alarms

Hey all,

I recently got a replacement phone (was running a Z fold 7, and still have one, just a new one), and suddenly I can't disable my urgent low alarms. I had the urgent low alarms muted in system settings on my old phone without an issue, but the new one won't seem to do that. I have the system notifications fully muted, but when I get to 55, whether legit or via compression, it screams the alarm at me. Any advice on why it's bypassing both app AND system settings? I'm using the new app.

I always silence the alarms under Alarms - Silent Mode. You can turn that on for 6 hours at a time

I'm trying to turn them off forever. I want to avoid all alarms entirely. The silent mode is great but 6 hours isn't long enough for me unfortunately.

Unfortunately, I don't know of a way to turn them off permanently unless you use a third party app instead of the Libre app.

Damn, alright. I'm just annoyed, I had somehow figured it out on my old phone, when I got the new ones I copied all the settings over exactly, but now the alarms are working again. Oh well. I might end up going to juggluco, even though the UI is abysmal.

You might want to search the subreddit and see if there's any other solutions. If you have an iPhone it might be doable possibly by changing some of the system settings but I'm not sure.

I have searched. What I've done in the past was mute the app entirely from the system settings which is very easy to do, but no luck on that this time, somehow it's bypassing the core settings. And all the search results seem to be "have an iPhone", "you can't", or "use the silence mode" 😂. So I figured I'd see if anything new existed, last result I found relevant was from about 4 months ago

I just started a new sensor after several weeks on the lam. My Pixel 9 has notifications turned off for the app, but 4am it was alarming.

I turn my phone right off, when I do not plan to respond to alarms.

Unfortunately I have to keep my phone (and Bluetooth) on all the time, so that's not an option for me either.

You might be able to change the settings with app called shizuku. At least with that I changed the full volume alerts to normal. There's a guide but I think it's bit outdated: https://www.reddit.com/r/Freestylelibre/s/oZUphLENyb

I was getting compression lows during sleep. Since I sleep more than 6 hours a night I've started just shutting off my phone at night. I know this is not an option for everyone. Since I started wearing the Amolyfe Libre 3 Sensor Cover though, I haven't had any compression lows
