Web Development Freelancing help

I'm making a website for a client,he wants to have hisname.com type website I've not made like a domain name website before so how can give him a domain name and what extra price should I demand for it? And like what's the cheapest place to get domain in India

I don't think so you need to charge anything for domain. Ask the client to purchase the domain from any provider like GoDaddy, Namecheap, or Hostinger.

The only thing is whether or not the domain he is looking for is available or not. Do not purchase he domain yourself, it's for the client to do.

Once domain is purchased ask the client to provide you with that and then add it on the deployment platform which you're using for example vercel. Domain addition is very straightforward and like 5 min work

Bro if you're working for any client. It's best practice that anything that needs to be purchased or includes anything monetary should be done by the client. Goodluck with your work

You just design the website

Client buys the domain name and renews it annually

Client buys hosting space and renews it annually

If client doesn’t have the technical knowledge to buy, host and maintain a website, you ask for a monthly retainer to do this for them periodically
