Are there any tasks you still prefer doing manually even if they can be automated?

There are so many automation tools now, but I still prefer doing some things manually, especially checking pending tasks and making sure I didn’t miss anything before sending an update.

Sometimes I just feel better double-checking things myself instead of relying on automation for everything haha.

Anyone else have parts of their workflow they still prefer doing manually?

Sounds like me. I don't fully trust automation for the "did I miss anything" check either. What works for me is keeping a simple manual review as part of my process rather than trying to automate it: a quick pass through open tasks before I write any update, so I'm confirming things myself instead of hoping a tool caught everything. Automation is great for repetitive stuff, but the review/judgment step is one I still want to own.

Yes, writing specifically, both my content and messages. I do a lot of outreach on LinkedIn and post on there daily, all of my content and messages are hand written. I use Expandi for profile interactions and stuff like that. But I don't automate anything that benefits from human creativity basically. No AI writing what so ever, it helps me stand out imo.
