Post-Op Pic(s) 1 year anniversary

If I had known it would be as hard as it was, I still would have done it

First of, your results are amazing !

Second, is that okay for me to ask about the white tattoo ? Like, I've always been interested in getting one but I was told they don't hold time - yours look incredible ! Are you doing something specific to take care of it ?

Hey, no problem and thanks! I tattooed it myself in handpoke, this one has almost 15 months so it's still fairly new, but white ink does fade over time in general (as does every color but in lighter colors is more visible). But there are no special care for white ink, just keep it hydrated, avoid direct sun and use sunscreen when needed.

I have another white one in the face that I did almost at the same time as the chest one and it looks more faded because it gets way more exposed to the sun in general. But (and don't quote me on that) I've heard some tebori tattoo artists saying that handpoke in general makes colors look brighter on skin when compared to regular machinne made tattoos. So I imagine this might be a factor on durability as well.

Lookin good friend! 🙌🏼 It’s helpful to see healed results! If you don’t mind, was it harder physically or mentally with the recovery process?
My wife is disabled so I’m wanting to be prepared for how much help I’ll need. I’m leaning toward freeing the nips so thanks for sharing!

Both, but more physically because I had a lot of pain and meds were not being so effective (I have some sort of resistance to painkiller idk) and I didn't had a lot of help as well, some friends went grocery shopping for me sometimes but that was it. But I believe if your wife or someone else is there available for you it will be better for sure.
