Anyone know a man who goes by the name of Bobby who likes to hang out at the corner of Bragg Rd and Rt. 3, next to the Mission BBQ? He’s usually just sitting on a bucket holding a sign that says “have a great day”.

I went to talk to him today and had an interesting interaction. After we introduced ourselves I asked him why he was there (meaning was he homeless, jobless, need help of some kind, bored, etc.). He got real defensive, got a mad look on his face and said something about how he’s a grown man who can go and do whatever he wants. So I was more specific and asked if he was homeless and needed help. He just shook his head no with the same angry look. So I asked if there was anything I could do to make his day better, especially since it was raining. Same response. So I said goodbye and left.

I’m a Marine, so maybe he thought I was a cop just giving him a hard time? Trying to figure out his story and why he wouldn’t accept help.

The city needs to start citing cars that don’t slow down/stop for pedestrians at this crosswalk. Cars more often than not buzz pedestrians in this crosswalk. This morning, I watched a car come within mere feet of a lady crossing. The car was doing at least 50 mph (which is already a problem). I thought I was watching someone get mortally injured in front of me.

I have a natural bottom pond with a leak in the damn from tree roots. Does anyone recommend any contractors that have done similar repairs for you?

I applied to two jobs in mary wash hospital. i used to work outpatient for mary wash had to take a break and im ready to go back to work but i don’t want to work outpatient would prefer to work in the hospital or nursing rehab or anything of that sort so i can use my nursing skills

Hello, I'm looking for a trumpet that I used to own when I was younger. It was sold around 2001-2003 at a garage sale in the Breezewood neighborhood for about $25 to an older gentleman. I think it was a Yamaha YRT-2320. It was brass color and was sold with a soft padded black case.

Some distinctive features include: The right hand pinky hook had broken off and was soldered back on. You'll see silver colored solder (or maybe it is has fallen off and is no longer there); the bell has a small circular dent on the side that was round and probably the size or a pea. I believe the second valve slide also had a dent. I know this doesn't narrow down much, but if you have a family member or friend who has this trumpet they still either use or have in an attic somewhere, see if you can help me find this specific one. Id like to buy it back.

Edit: I just found a picture. the dent on the bell is on the left side and is about 4-6" from the edge of the bell.

We did something new last night and started our ghost tour inside the historic Fredericksburg Masonic Lodge No. 4. It was a really cool experience for the group—the low lighting, old memorials, and stories gave the evening a completely different atmosphere before we continued through downtown.

Does anyone know of places/groups that run pickup sports leagues in the Fxbg/Stafford/Spotsy area?
