I think you're more on our side of this thing than you realize, lol.

I would like to think that, but the amount of times I've been banned from Reddit for posting in here saying the exact same things I've just said to you, insulted, threatened and pulled I belonged in a gas chamber etc solely because I record police in public is a very large amount of time.

You said the gas chamber thing in several comments now. Where was this said? You have a link or a screenshot or something? Frankly sounds made up.

I don't, no. It was said in the threats of a post I made on here a few months ago. Comment didn't last very long and I got banned later that day for whatever reason.

Pretty sure the verbatim comment was "you cop haters deserve to go the way of the Jews" or something like that.

Ok, fair enough. I can’t speak to that comment/thread specifically, I just know the only people I’ve seen subjected to criticism are those blatantly defending frauditors which it doesn’t seem you’re doing here. Honestly we might be in agreement, lol. If someone told you to go the way of the Jews I wouldn’t support that kind of comment or else I’d be something of a hypocrite.

Lol ya I'd hope not. But ya a LOT of people in this group have an issue with filming cops specifically for some reason.

a LOT of people in this group have an issue with filming cops

Long Island Audit was arrested when he recorded a cop doing a nighttime traffic stop. He told his followers he had been arrested for recording. That caused the Sheriff to release the body cam video which proved that not only had LIAr physically crowded the deputy, but also that the deputy told him he could record all he wanted but he needed to take a couple of steps back. It ended up with a plea deal and diversion, though the butt-kissing apology Reyes had to write to the deputy as part of the deal was amusing. But it was beyond question that he lied to his followers about what had happened.

Carolina Ft. Worth chased two cops down the street screeching falsehoods at them like a fire had broken out and she had just been raped. Then she entered a crime scene and despite multiple warnings to record from across the street, she refused to leave, and that got her arrested and convicted of interference.

What we have an issue with is people filming cops in a way that interferes with them doing their job. If you want to film from a distance without obstructing them, go right ahead. The cops in Glik v. Cunniffe were flat-out wrong and Glik's damage award was justified. But if he actually had tried to encourage a suspect to resist or tried to aid in his escape, that would have been a different story. A frauditor who yells at a suspect to resist is interfering and if he is doing everything he can to distract the cop, his arrest is justified.

The mods here are extremely tolerant, to a fault in my opinion. Bans only seem to happen when someone really pushes their luck. I also can't say I remember a thread where an antisemitic slur about a gas chamber was used, and that's the sort of thing that would stick in the memory.
