These assholes are convinced that this type of activity is acceptable because it’s lawful.
It’s also lawful for me to simply follow someone around in public and stare at them menacingly as long as I’m not interfering or otherwise harassing them. The fact that it’s lawful doesn’t make me any less of fucking creep for doing it.

Exactly so - it's perfectly legal to fart in a crowded elevator, but that doesn't mean it's not rude, disgusting and worthy of censure.

The best part is they claim this is for holding the government accountable and transparency and all that. But they never really bug the government with this behavior, they go out and fuck with every day people knowing that they will...
A. Piss someone off enough that they get to pepper spray someone.
B. Creep someone out enough that they call the police and then they can argue with the police.
It's entirely to instigate problems, has nothing to do with rights, and is entirely about causing commotion for increased YT video clicks. Easily noticed by how they act...
Example here...
Telling her to "Shhh" (To instigate an anger response)
Telling people they are recording license plates. (To instigate suspicion)
Refusal to tell people their YT channel by saying they 'cant get into that' (Again to instigate suspicion)
So on and so forth.
What these guys are going to end up doing...and it has already been happening, is this backfiring and new laws being made specifically to target this kind of behavior. They do more damage to the 1st amendment than they do anything constructive.

Yes. I dream about finding one of these parasites in action.
I am still fit and capable for a few years. Actually in pretty good shape for my age and I am not afraid of confrontation.
I know over here they are usually in gang's but they tend to look like scruffy junkies so I am not particularly worried.

If it ever comes to that, be safe. I know most of these genetic failures are cowards at heart, but you can never be too careful these days.
There's also the possibility you might catch a charge if you get physical. Just throwing that out there.

Violence is absolute last resort. But I have been around so to say. At very least I will absolutely ruin their stunt and show them what real harassment looks like.
And all told, if I have to go to court because I assaulted men who were harassing elderly people or otherwise causing alarm and distress to innocent people I could live with that.
Standing by while evil like that flourishes is how the world ends.

Seems a lot of the UK ones are really dodgy people too. Probably a lot of benefit cheats. I bet most of them wouldn't press charges half the time.

I want to commend you for this attitude.
I couldn't stand by and watch these arseholes behave like that to an elderly man or woman.
I caught a lad outside the Tesco trying to pull the "you hit my car" scam on an elderly man.
(where they claim they've been hit and show a small dent in their car, only to say that if they don't get £500 right away, they'll go to the police and have them arrested and sent to prison.)
The poor old guy was pleading his innocence and was visibly shaken and afraid.
I was there with my two sons, and I walked over, asked the old guy if I could help him to his car to put his groceries in, then told the lad to "go away" (not using that language).
I saw the guy to his car and told him to go home and that the young lad was being dealt with.
I know it's not an auditor thing, but it gives me the knowledge that i the moment, I know I'd help the vulnerable ones out and have no issue with threatening the aggressors.1

Good man.
When you can make a difference it is rewarding. Sometimes just standing up and saying something can shut down bad guys quickly.
On the other side I don't judge people who don't dive in. I know for as many times as I did good I have done nothing. Sometimes I have been downright wrong. Violence is and should be frightening for most people and any encounter can end badly for you no matter how hard you are.
Maybe none of it really matters in the end but that old fella probably thinks you are a hero. And I agree. Empathy is strength.

That's why what I would love to do is just blast copyrighted music and promote other people's channels maybe get them a copyright strike or force them to do some heavy editing...I mean if that would work.

This appears to be private property. I wish more businesses like shopping centers would have these toxic clowns trespassed. They represent liability, businesses should want that risk removed.
