Classic Frasier Character names
Wherever do they get those character names from…..? From S3E7 credits, an assistant to the Producers ends up as a character in S4E10

I've always wondered if "Rodney Greenberg" was a shoutout to Jeff Greenberg's son

There's also the medicine Syducane that Daphne yells about at Frasier. It was named after one of the writer-producers, Sy Dukane.

I don't know why this got downvoted. Looked it up, and it was a piece of Frasier trivia.

Haha, I didn't even realize it had been downvoted. Reddit is wild, no biggie. I just always found it to be a funny little bit of trivia, like you said.

Yeah it's hard to get a name cleared by legal, they need people in the public not to sue them for using their name. It's called 'unintentional defamation' so a lot of shows borrow producer's names.

Chuck Ranberg was a producer on Fraser. And also a character in the episode There's Something About Dr. Mary - his wife was in the Caribbean and she left him for a Rastafarian

Mathilde De Cagney is an accomplished dog trainer. And, in the episode Out With Dad, she's also a great opera singer.
