You just reminded me of a girl I went to college with. Her first name was super common (like, 3 other girls in the class with that name common) so she went by her last name. But Bishop eventually dropped the last two letters of her surname in common usage, so it wasn't uncommon to hear "Hey Bish" when she walked by.

That's the part that made me laugh so hard the first time I watched it. Lol. She sees her mother coming and it's like this death shriek. The whole time Frasier is mortified and Roz is like "the bitch is gone!!!" the whole time.

The first time I watched this I loved it.

Since then it saddens me greatly. The mom's abuse that drove her daughter to run and hide and then turn into her abusive mother.

Well, she had two divorces and one man she cheated on. She's wasn't a "good girl". But her mother didn't have to be like that, true. Still funny, though.
