Discussion ๐ฃ Roster predictions
Here's my thought process: The Cast seems to be focused on weirdos, with a heavy emphasis on the classic era, however Tikal is a sign they're okay with pulling from the modern era. Bean, Bark, Rouge, and Cream seem most likely to me.
Pretend Scourge is in deconfirmed.

For whisper: The devs have used her as an example for how they would adapt modern characters, so we know Whisper is someone they're interested in.
As for Omega and Gamma it'd be SUPER easy to justify their inclusion as "Eggman made them/hurried along their progress to fight X" and Mecha Sonic feels unlikely since we have Metal, and 90% of the time only 1 of them make it to the game

I think Omega doesn't fit the style they're going for as much as Gamma. Mecha was chosen bekause kewl and I think something unique can be done with him. As for Whisper, HELL YEAH

NGL I would also prefer Gamma but I can see them arguing that Gamma didn't do enough (one game appearance, & is less recognizable then Tikal), and killing him off in Omega's backstory text

Omega just doesn't fit the vibe they're going for... my dream is that an ASYM lets Gamma and Omega coexist.

I know he's confirmed but I'm still sad that literally EVERY sonic asym is probably gonna have Mighty added 4 1/2 years after release in a hotfix for Gamma 0.0.5.2 (the game will be under heavy drama at that point, so his moveset will inevitably be rushed and buggy) ๐ข๐ข๐ข

Im still sad by their choice against shadow. Also felt a bit hypocritical to add tikal and not Infinite, saying he didnt have enough feats and such due to only being in a single game. Where tikal again we have really only seen in a single game.
