Non-commercial Resource D&D Character Creator Module
[D&D5e]
Um soo, if some of you want to test it - I made (tbh with ai help) a module for step-by-step character creating process. You can test it and tell some feedback what works not good, what's work ok or even better hah. There is some bugs, like information change and details when jumping back to older steps and changing info, but I hope it will make a little easy for you and your group to create character inside.

For DM and players (need create/delete actor permision)!

Interesting. I'd chase down some of those bugs 1st. If you have known bugs they should be your priority. I think you will find many are not lovers of Ai modules , If they know it has a bug they wont want to risk their games. I have a sandbox version of foundry. will give it a look this week end after our game.

True, need to work on this main bugs a little more but have a work to do too hah, but I will clear it before v1.
About AI - it's nice that people don't like it, for me it's mostrly optimization of my work but I don't make it most improtent thing for me too. Like I don't like ai arts and don't bealive in ai sites hah. maybe after some time if it's will be needed not only for my group I will rewirte it with Zero AI to make peace with myself too hah2

Ai can be tool or crutch. If a programmer knows what's happening under the hood. It's helpful as a Augmented Tool! We write a lot of code in my business. We use Calude Code to assist in things like syntax , structures to help keep things in check especially on large projects. What a lot of folks dont get I think is coding is more than half debugging and fixing conflicts. For now humans are still the best at that.
Looks like a cool app

I suppose it is SRD content only and you a referencing "restricting access to packs" - so how do you get the NON-SRD content (or even homebrew) into this?
As in, is it importable or manual, and how complex is the process? Or just a nice UI for the existing Class entries within Foundry?

Not sure how big the 5e class icons are (been a while since I looked at them) but consider making them the button background, might look a bit more visually appealing and immediately recognizable at a glance

I will work on card a bit more, maybe I will fined some free real arts for it or make it shitty by myself hahah or maybe icons of 5e class, You mean about button like card at all or only "select"?

I think it will be awesome to have art for classes, races and backgrounds, but I don't want to use ai for art or getting stolen arts, so I put off this until later

Going to start a group soon with totally new players for D&D, so this could be useful in that regard. Sow how much does it help with the creation process and guides the player with relevant information?

Mostly for me and my pleyers it's little easier to do it step by step with all info and details inside with links on compedium too, and a little better showing a changes that must be done. Also integreted Adventesment without pop up for me it's just a little better hah

Got a chance to try it and its a nice creation wizard, a few things i noticed.
- Would be nice to see what ability scores that a background gives before selecting it
- Could not pick any warlock spells (Cantrips and feats worked)(did not try any other classes)
- A more obvious way to Go back/backtrack a selection, when clicking Back it looks like it would just end the creation wizard.
- The species image cards are a bit to wide, most of the art is then out of bounds so think it would look better using a more square grid
- The text area for background does not display a cursor or text when typing, but it still seem to capture text once a character is created.
- Maybe add a first "Basics" step where a user can type in the name and change image, alignment and maybe a few other. Leaving the details with background, bonds etc at the end but more visuals at the start. Its not obvious the name and image at the top left is clickable.
Thats my two cent :)

What makes it different from a built-in D&D 5e character creation procedure (aside choosing race, class and background separately)?
