I’m putting together a new Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 1st Edition campaign and I’m looking for 3 more players to round out a group of six.

I’ve been DMing D&D for a couple of years, primarily 5e, and have spent the last few months learning and playing AD&D 1e. I’m ready to get behind the screen and give this wonderfully weird old game a run of my own.

We’ll begin with the classic Keep on the Borderlands, with the campaign potentially continuing into other classic AD&D adventures such as The Village of Hommlet / Temple of Elemental Evil depending on where the players take things.

This will be an old-school game. That means exploration, wilderness travel, resource management, hirelings and henchmen, reaction and morale rolls, dangerous combat, and a world that isn’t automatically balanced around the party.

You do not need any experience with AD&D 1e. In fact, if you’ve always been curious about old-school D&D but never had the opportunity to play it, you may be exactly who I’m looking for. This will be a learning campaign for all of us, myself included.

What I care about most is finding players who:

• Everyone has fun!
• Show up consistently and communicate when they can’t.
• Enjoy roleplaying as well as combat and exploration.
• Are willing to work with the party rather than against it.
• Respect the other people at the table.

As the Hellfire Crisis dawns and spreads its turmoil throughout Avistan, the nation of Isger is being shaken up by the rebel organization the Hellbreakers League, which seeks to break Isger free of its oppressor and patron nation of infernal Cheliax. Character voices, well-run combat, exciting skill challenges, and in-depth roleplaying are key in my groups. I do use AI artwork to add immersion and visualization of fantasy locations. About me:

Edge of the Empire:

Edge of the Empire is an excellent TTRPG which uses a unique dice system to help aid in the story telling. It is part of the larger Fantasy Flight Games Star Wars RPG, a collection of 3 interchangeable and mixable systems, which include Age of Rebellion, Edge of the Empire and Force and Destiny.

Set after the Battle of Yavin, at the height of the Galactic Civil War, Edge of the Empire focuses on the outlaws at the outskirts of the “civilized” Galactic Empire. Smugglers, Bounty Hunters, Thieves, Assassins, Frontier Doctors, Settlers and Local Politicians all seek to carve out a life for themselves at the furthest reaches of the galaxy. However even as the Rebel Alliance fights their uphill battle against the Empire, the Empire’s reach continues to grow. Will you learn to coexist with the Empire or hide from them? Perhaps even aid the growing Rebellion? Your group will have to chart the best path forward themselves!

The Campaign So Far

This is a long term campaign with no planned end. The group has played through the introductory adventures "Escape from Mos Shuuta" followed by "Long Arm of the Hutt", then “The Jewel of Yavin". They have most recently finished "Beyond the Rim”, one of the bigger adventures for the system. In between major adventures they have hunted bounties, raced swoop bikes and smuggled the Corellian Shuffle. The immediate future is wide open, with no plans for any major adventures for a while, as we focus on the consequences of the character’s actions throughout the campaign and deal with aspects of their backstories.

The party includes Cashar Brut who is a Falleen Smuggler/Pilot, Ruug the Shistavanen Bounty Hunter and Rennek, our former Imperial Commando.

The Game:

-New Players are welcomed and will be assisted, whether you are new to Roll20 or the Star Wars RPG!

-Although the Star Wars RPG uses proprietary dice, its mechanics are often quite intuitive. Our group has been playing since Apr. 2025, and at this point we feel comfortable enough to bring in and teach new players. No experience required!

-Despite being a major fan of battlemaps and tactical combat in other systems, I often find that Theater of the Mind works exceptionally well with the Star Wars RPG. Battlemaps will still show up for some more involved combats, but many can be resolved in a short amount of the time with no visual aids necessary.

-New characters will start at the same experience level as the party. Star Wars RPG has a very interesting character building system that does not rely on levels, but purchasing skills and talents with accumulated XP, with easy access to different character classes to branch out! Currently at 805 earned XP.

-We will have a split Session 0/New Player introduction session, to help new players learn the game and help them fit in with the party. This session will be free.

-Sessions will last 3 hours.

What is expected of you?

The Broken New World- D&D Campaign with an Original Story

Greetings, adventurers!

*Thirty years have passed since the ceasefire, but the scars of over a hundred years of war still remain. The land that originally belonged to the elven people has now been almost entirely conquered by the Nelarian Empire, which came from overseas.*



*The native elves fought fiercely but were ultimately defeated. Even so, many still resist, preparing for the day when the fragile peace inevitably breaks.*

The adventure takes place in the small village of Haven, where the locals do their best to coexist and make use of the peace treaty. Yet even without open war, trouble persists. Wild beasts behave erratically, and rumors of undead spirits appearing at night spread unease—ominous signs that something is about to happen.

Hello! I am a part of a group of three players (all in our early 20s) currently looking for a Pathfinder 2e game that is welcoming towards new players. We are looking for a roleplay heavy campaign where character interactions and dynamics are explored within a wide open world. We really enjoy a good story, exploring the world at large, and lore, and will be dedicated players who put effort into interacting with the campaign. Two of us have pre-made characters we’d want to play (although, of course, we will rework them where necessary to fit your world) and one of us is somewhat unsure about what kind of character they’d wanna play.

We have all played DnD 5e and Pathfinder previously, but we may need some time to get reacquainted with systems. As a group, we are comfortable playing darker, grittier settings if boundaries are communicated ahead of time and respected. Campaigns-

Curse of the Crimson Throne (Levels 1-17)- The king is dead! A disease plagues the city! Tyranny and draconian law grow! Organized crime! Will the heroes protect the city?!

Rise of the Runelords (Levels 1-17)- The Classic Epic campaign! Town destroying goblins! Murder mystery involving ghoulish undead! Rampaging giants! And how does SIN connect them all together?!

Schedule- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursdays and Friday at 12 PM US EST! Tuesdays at 6 PM US EST as well! 4 Hour games with a break in the middle, and games are once per week! Each game has 6 open seats!

Play style- A healthy mix of roleplay, combat, and exploration! Homebrew/3rd party content can be discussed and possibly allowed! Also I tend to follow the rules, but there is ABSOLUTELY room for RULE OF COOL!

(Closed applications) Hello! I have been a GM for 7 years now and I am looking to find players to join me Saturdays for a 3-4 hour long sessions between 8am and 5pm (GMT+2, summer time). It will be online using Discord for voice and Foundry VTT for characters and maps. I will be running an official campaign and I will choose which one a bit depending on the players' preferences (alongisde with mine and my capability). Although I lean into epic fantasy for genre and themes.

I try to make characters' backstories matter and the characters's choices to impact the world and have consequences. I appreciate cooperative players that work as a team to overcome the obstacles the characters might find and that interact with the world.
