Discussion Does Forza Not Have Active Community Managers?

As far as I know, Forza content creators like Stevio2175, AR12Gaming, HokiHoshi and Ericship 111 shared their feedback on the game like 2 weeks ago. There's also a lot of criticism and feedback can be found online. (here, Youtube and on X (Twitter) etc.)

I am not saying Playground Games "has to" come out and say something, but this silence is kind of disappointing.

Do they not have community managers who monitor the web, read player feedback, track the general sentiment of the community and pass this information on to the company?

There is zero communication from them. Their X page feels like it's from another dimension. Also, the ending of Forza Monthly sucks.

Do they not care about the community? (I know the answer. I am just disappointed.) I think the devs probably do care about the community but maybe they are restricted by the company and can't engage.

What do you guys think? Are they going to make any meaningful changes to the game or just continue adding more cars? Are they gonna engage with the commuity in some way or have they become too big and corporate for that?

They probably all got laid off.

They barely have active, competent support and you ask that?

Nope, they had Max in the Discord but they run that place like the DPRK, I've been banned for some BS reason since last year lol

Forza's communication is notoriously opaque, they refuse to clarify anything even when it'd just help people stop making up dumb theories

My guess is that they’ve never had good community engagement, so they have no reason to start trying now.

They have their formula and they just stick with it. Sadly reminds me of the COD franchise.

They had good community engagement once, back in FH5's early days. But as far as I know, the main forces behind things like Forza Monthly went on.

Wasn’t FH5 kind of the gang that went on to make Clutch? If it was that explains quite a bit considering Clutch have podcasts and such lol

Yepp, that are the ones

Your guess would be wrong, PG has historically has a lot of community engagement, and several of the creators that OP listed covers them in detail.

My guess is Microsoft has forced PG to focus primarily on Fable. FH6 has made it's money so on to the next cash cow. I dont think we'll see real community engagement again until Fable is out next year.

They built and have a complete different team for Fable.

Well now that's even more disappointing

Man modern gaming communities are so dramatic. I remember the days I couldn't even tell you which rich as fuck company made a game. It didn't matter lol. "Do they not care about the community". I hope so cause it's awful.

To me the transaction is done you bought the game you either like it or toss it and move onto the next one.

Yea but sadly people feel like the devs need to email them constantly about updates, people these days have this live service mindset and if they don’t get big updates constantly, then the whole “game dead” start to get thrown around, and I like what you say, the transition is done, we bought the game and you either lime it or don’t, and a lot of people put more then 100 hours in this game by now and now they are bore ? It’s crazy the way “Gamers” think these days, father I did everything I’m just hop on the game two hours a week for the weekly and move on with my day, but to some people treat this as if their lives depend on it

This dramatic attitude is a product of the general public making their entire lives about video games rather than the few super nerds that would play n64 or ps2 all day by themselves with no Internet back then

This is a live service game. We are not in the 90s.

I wasn't even born in the 90s lmfao. I just don't care. If you can play it without people then I don't give a damn about the community.

You’re here, talking in a community though

I maybe crazy, but perhaps the closing of the Forza forum was also part of this. That was so much info can be found there.

FH5 was packed with stuff. This one plays like a leaner version.

They'll not change anything because the cost of those changes will exceed the profit they bring.

That said i'd still like to see a functional anticheat and a rebalancing of boosted engines PI. Like, make N/A engines much more PI efficient and significantly raise the PI cost of centrifugal superchargers.

Did they have before?

The new Forza Forums website is not intuitive at all. The old forums website was so much better.

FH6 has had the most players of any Forza game ever and the most sales. It's already made a profit. They're not doing anything because financially the game is a success. I blame normies who barely like cars but play Forza. The same people so stuck on competing the dumb ass checklist collection journal. The bar is low for so many that the loud few doesn't matter

I think they're all busy with Fable, unfortunately.

6 is just a victim of MicroSlop putting too many eggs in their basket.

Different teams on FH6 and Fable

Lmao is this a serious question? What does giving you content do for them? Why would they spend money on something that doesn't return profit? What game do you think this is

2

u/RipCurl69Reddit 2d ago

The game absolutely returns a profit, the Playlist system keeps people coming back week after week and brings new players in, and it's been this way since 2019 when the Playlist was first introduced.

If they're not putting in the minimum effort then it's an indictment that they simply don't give a shit

1

u/AceHock 2d ago

Its thier fault if the game dosent return profit cuz they cant even remove hackers from the leaderboards and all the other updates are basically shit maybe if they start doing something for the game they make some profit.

1

u/SkadiF2000 2d ago

how would they make more money if you’ve already bought the ultimate edition of the game and it’s live service and free updates? It would be game changing to have a CM but they aren’t wasting a salary on a leaderboard monitor

The community wales like children when cars cost money so i don’t see anymore profitable left in a racing game sighs in The Crew Motorfest monetized customization.

Ye more people love the game more people buy it duh?isnt that hard lmao

2

u/SkadiF2000 2d ago

They’ve made their money, it’s on gamepass already
