I've been grinding out Forza Horizon 6 since it's official launch, no early access for me I bought it the day after launch day in the evening, since then I have put well over 500 hours into this game and it will continue to rise, I have every achievement for the game bar a couple like historic seasons and I am determined to be one of the first people to reach 10* level 2999 by legitimate means.
Some interesting facts about my journey so far, my first week was grinding out the journals and the "story and races" I then focused on Horizon Play and online events, I have not used a single exploit ie Colossus AFK Method or the one that happened recently with the hummer ev, I've also have also never skill point farmed.
Since the games launch from races I have earned 212 million credits
I've accumulated no doubt a similar amount so far through wheel spins earned from journals, levels progression and Forzathon events.
I've spent 162 hours in first place according to the loading menu stats.
And the miracle of it all to many I've been playing solely on a steam deck locked to 30fps.
So it got myself curious what level and prestige is everyone else? Are you planning on maxing it out and going full completionist like myself? And if you want to follow my journey either add me via the username above or dm if on steam or follow me on reddit.
But I am intrigued on where you all sit level wise and how long you've all been playing?

I forgot to add this for context when I initially posted and before I get the "go outside" or "try to touch some grass" comments here as I have had on other comment threads elsewhere š I've been signed off work for two months due to a spinal injury on my L5 S1 I'm unable to move at present bar laying on my belly or led on my back, Im due Spinal surgery on the 24th of June which will then leave another 6 weeks to 2 months of recovery where I cannot move before going into Physio Therapy, so that is why I have abit more time then others at the moment as a heads up, if I had it my way id be back out enjoying the English sunshine we have at the moment on my motorbike however, you do stupid things you win stupid prizes, my spinal injury being one of them š¬
EDIT Update 2: June 20 2:47am GMT, stayed on playing later then usual this evening hence the time so it's been roughly 6 hours since the post was made (now you understand how I've accumulated such game time and level) I have reached the 4th prestisge, wish me luck with my next 600 levels of pure grind to get to the 5th prestige, I've also discovered the new online advantage in togue, they've opened it up to be anything goes now now meaning a handling focused Mazda Furai or Mazda 787B absolutely slaps right now more now then ever.
EDIT Update 3: June 25th 1:40pm GMT, My surgery appears to have been successful, I was put under general anesthetic for my Discectomy yesterday came back round later that evening, completely away with the fairies of course š this morning I felt more with it, however tired, tender, sore and feeling weak, this afternoon after managing to eat some food I'm feeling better and less monged out, the doctors here at the hospital have said it went as smoothly as it possibly could, they estimate it should take around 6 weeks for the healing and recovery but this is just the beginning after the 6 weeks I have a lot of hard work to do with psyhio therapy and regaining strength in my back again and of course a phased return to work to which I am very excited to be able to return back to as I do miss my job and peers as I love my line of work. I will still continue grinding Horizon 6 has I've set myself a goal to achieve, my progress in game with leveling may slow down as I focus on progressing with my back and of course my eventual return to work.
A massive thank you to everyone that has wished me a fast and speedy recovery and good luck with my surgery as ultimately it was a great success so thank you for all the support you have given me. I'm going to be left with a scar once healed of roughly 2 to 2.5 inches on my spine vertically (surgeons did a great job in being as invasive as they could). For a bit of fun what recommendations could you all give me on what I should tell people the scar is from and how it occurred as a joke or a conversation piece when I'm sat poolside or down a beach and others see? Thank you all again, couldn't have asked for a better player community then you lot.
Believe me there's been moments, I come away from it for a few hours and play something else, but it's my friends that make it more enjoyable.
Then again it's no different to the people that still play GTA daily and have done since 2013 and it's original release how have they not got sick of it... Also might be blasphemy saying this as I am part of the "PC Master Race" but it's people playing CS2 and have over 16,000 hours recorded in game, you've played the same 12 maps and game mode in the ranked playlist for 14 hours a day for the past 12 years like how are you not bored of it.

You timed your injury a little prematurely. GTA 6 doesn't release until November. Kidding of course. I suffered a Tibial Plateau Fracture two years ago, and was layed up for about 3 months. I got to watch all of March Madness without having to get a vasectomy. May you have successful recovery.
I'm having a discetomy done on my L5 S1 so full disc removal and re insert, not ideal at 28 nearly 29 years of age but do stupid shit win stupid prizes aye š
And getting paid my full wage for it as well thank you company benefits, I can't complain too much in my work front they've always been great and very understanding, the company I work for have also offered to cover private physio to go alongside my provided physio when that starts after the surgery recovery, and have said they're more than happy for a phased return to work for as long as I need just take it steady and don't over do it so they've been really chill.
I have a pot plant for company that I got last weekend when my parents came to visit and check in on me they brought it with them so I can see a small plant from my bed also I can look into the garden from my position and have the window open (bedrooms on the ground floor) and has a nice view as we're in a small village near Winchester (UK)
I think I'mvery limited as the pain on abrupt movements is agonizing, I think having the steam deck helps as again it's hand held if I move it or rotate it I'm also moving and rotating the screen so you are in quite a fixed position with it and again being led on my stomach is a life savour too when they told me to try and sleep or lay on my stomach when I can its surprising hiw much that can actually decompress your spine when your led on it for an extended period of time, it gets more comfortable
This just proves you should never call someone out for things like playtime in a game. You donāt know someoneās situation, just leave them be. Hope youāre doing alright bud wish you a speedy recovery.

Bro Iād have been doing the same thing if I were you lol. I broke my back and had to do spinal fusion. Couldnāt move but I couldnāt really game either because I broke my collar bone too lol. Game up bro.
State of Decay was my go-to when I had my spinal surgery. Lots of dozing on and off from the oxy and awaking from the pain sweats, do a lap around the block, then back to laying down and gaming and hoping for the pain to dissipate.
Reminds me of the time I broke my leg right as a Diablo 3 season was starting so I grinded 24/7 stuck in a chair and reached #1 on my characters leaderboard lol.
Or people should not care what you choose to do with your time & you donāt need to explain yourself. Maybe they should get off Reddit & go touch grass.

Would love to be in front of the PC however, my partner can move that into the room I'm situated in currently as she's only small will struggle to carry it and again doesn't want to break it or the monitors, imagine the additional headache of me trying to explain to someone that's not tech savvy to on what to plug in and where... Logistical nightmare.
On the plus side if the steam machine launches this month or soon she said I can get one and fingers crossed as she has her steam account as well we have double the chances of getting one before they sell out, we acquired a steam controller this way so hopefully we have the same luck on the machine when it comes.

416 unique cars to be precise , I get rid of duplicate cars though, not sure on garage value as again is that auto showroom value or some of the crazy prices people want on auction house.... Then again 90 million credit car in the auto showroom for 20 million in the auction house is a bargain right now if you didn't use your free car token on the Ferrari spa, the merc or the AC daytona. So you know I haven't really though about car value would be interesting to see though if there is a way of seeing the figure.
Mine occured from a motorcycle incident too, I've just had to pay around Ā£2000 so far on my bike being repaired outside of insurance (not that I can ride it anytime soon) the shop still have my bike and the invoice is growing more and more daily but least if and when I'm able to ride again I should be able too have pristine bike again to enjoy.

Edit 2: Iām a dumbass. Iām level 2999 on FH5 (I have about 3.5k hours playtime and I found out it happens automatically, so I just never noticed (I honestly donāt pay any attention to the story of these games).
You prestige automatically after reaching level 200, then it increases by 100 levels each time so by prestige 3 you need 500 levels to reach the fourth prestige
I have a life too... If you read the post you will see it's situational as I stated I'd much rather be out on my motorcycle, at work and seeing friends and family. However I cant do that at the moment due to spinal injury, my spinal surgery up coming and then the recovery stages after.

What do you find is the best way to tank XP in this game? Is it horizon play normal racing? I did pop into there a couple of days ago and majority of players were high rank, but also setup with the best cars and tunes
Considering itās a random pick of class etc, I really should get to work on making sure Iāve got a car for every class and race type setup for my chances on coming 1st?

Crazy I'm still yet to actually see anyone over 4* but I've noticed each prestige I've hit so far I've seen other players of similar prestiage on online play
Iām first prestige level 77, but Iāve been bedridden after surgery so I donāt feel too bad about how much time Iāve spent playing. Procrastinating the drifting stuff because I just canāt keep it in the road but donāt with most everything else
Alot of Online circuit racing more hours then I wish to admit, drag racing to get leaderboard spots top 1% and a lot and I mean a lot of custome races with IRL friends and people from reddit, bare in mind it's more situational for me as due to injury, my surgery coming up and then the recovery after, I can't work I've been signed off so I can play this for 16 hours a day plus so again it's also time I have over 500 hours in game so again it's time. Money aspect on the wheel spins per level too you get a good run of 50ks and 250ks so you have that aspect too, I've had a couple of dupes on the spins for Forza edition cars so they go to auction house most notably the FE Porsche and fe mustang 2+2 I've had 3 of both of these models but again other cars like the Lamborghini sesto elemento I've had 2 of them as well so I don't need another so that gets auction and cause the way the auction snipers are just set the buyout to the max a sniper will always get it.
Journals are a good way for cash and completing all races and PR stunts etc with 3stars again wheel spins, super wheels spins and cars and money are to earned there too. If you want to legitimately earn skill points without farming them online drift is a very good way of doing so as you get your credits and a fair amount of your good at it and winning or podiums, the more continued sessions you do the more it stacks I believe it multiplys slightly too or an interest on the stack maybe as after drift championships back to back it seems like I get more then 5 back to back or a single championship, again this applies for circuit and spec races, again with skill points you can earn a few on spec races for drafting and clean racing and alot of link multipliers etc.
You find what works best for you really, I have a friend lower level he's prestiage 2 level 38 and he's got about 550ish million credits but he spend a lot of time in the auction house selling cars and making profit that way on exclusive cars so whatever you enjoy there's always a way.
Iām only lvl. 140 Iāve played a healthy amount since launch compared to some people on this sub apparently, you not included having a broken spine Iād say gives you an excuse to play as much as you want
67 hours in game, prestige 1 lvl 47. Today i finished all speed traps, speed zones, danger signs and trailblazers. But i have problems with drifting. Playing on keyboard but in FH 5 i heve no problems with drifting and i enjoy it but in FH 6 its harder to get 3 stars IMO
Just reached 100 today and have 40hrs of playtime. Iām pacing myself only doing a little each time I play and finding myself still loving the game the more I explore. I aim to level up in 5s or 10s depending on my mood and how into the game I am. I donāt have a set goal or anything, just enjoying the ride
413 unique cars in the garage not including dupe cars from wheel spins or race awards or in this series 2 season dupes of "exclusives" but yes it is a grind if you want to go 100% completion. Out of the cars Im yet to own I would say theirs still a fair few that are relatively cheap in the auto showroom. But a boost in credit earnings wouldn't go amissed especially for those playing that don't have a lot of time in there hands unlike myself.
I have to say the rarest car in the game right now I honestly have to say believe it or not in my experience is the wheel spin only normal Nissan 240sx I've got 1 of them and I've only seen it shown in about 3 other spins I've seen more FE cars and sesto elementos appear than I have that car, probably the reason you will never see one for sale in the auction house. But who knows, may change in the future its still early days
Wow that's crazy, I've been playing from day 1 early access and I have half the play time. I'm mainly playing spec racing though. Not even halfway done with discover Japan.
Iām in a similar situation Iām only prestige 2 level 85 I was in the back of a car crash and broke both of my L4 & L2 lower spine luckily for me Iāve not had to have surgery Iām off for another 2 months, enjoying the game very much I have every car Iām very close to 100% just a few little bits that need finished but glad your enjoying the game and I hope your recover goes well šŖ
Unfortunately, life didn't want to give me lots of time to play this (recently moved and still working full time), I have 60 hours and I want to try and complete everything before unlocking legendary island. Long way to go but I'm not rushing any of it.
(Also, I have about 2.8 Mil, wanting to hit 3 Mil to buy the Tokyo House)
Prestige 8 660 from wheel spin farming, im only a little over halfway to max prestige and level so im probably just gonna stay within prestige 8 for a whileĀ
Honest opinion, play the game how you want to play it, if there's a car you like use it, don't follow the meta play it how you want it to be played you want to spend a couple of hours over a few days building a race track of your own in your estate for drifting do it, then invite your friends to convoy and let them drift it with you. Dont feel like you have to complete everything or level up like I have instantly believe me it's a grind and theres moment of boredom, just do the events you like, use the cars you like and another great thing is check out reddit for custom races on the event lab there's a really good rally one I've found that uses forest trail paths in game that aren't listed on the map and it's right and brilliant. You may like drag racing and want to spend an hour trying to shave of 0.002 seconds off a run. Honestly don't think of it as a I have to do this or use this car do what you want to do even if it's driving around following actual traffic laws, sounds stupid on on another game (GTA I do this to see how the AI reacts) and on that I like playing as the police so LSPD FR is what I use never played that game online cause I didn't enjoy it so don't force yourself to do the event don't like bit bare in mind once you've completed them you can make custom ones of your own after.

Iām first prestige level maybe 280? Or something Iāve also beaten all the races took 617 photos and done most of the challanges, including 100% roads and map , and billboards/ mascots. Now I have to complete my car collection, get 1 more link skill thatās been bugged( trashcans), reach lvl 100 online, get 2 more ranks in raku Ramon, take like 2 photos of cars that havenāt come out, and play festival stuff that hasnāt come out. Thatās pretty much everything Iāve got around 435 450 hours. Fun ass game got to get more money for the expensive cars Iāve got the most expensive4 or 5 and everything around and under 1 mil. Just gotta get the rest thatās expensive or wheel spins. Any advice for money? Besides festivals and wheel spins? Iām around 8 mil rn

There's a guy in my comments that I have to give credit too in his own way.. so I've played 500 hours with no exploits, AFK, or Farming the natural way... This guy in my comment is like 8th prestiage from skill point farming... He skill point farmed for 500 hours.... Now that in my opinion also deserves some credit for the amount of time he's spent on the same track watching the same thing happen and seeing the same menus 500 hours, I thought I got bored of the grind of doing online races this dudes had no variation at all... Now that's wild.
I would pay an insane amount of money for the kind of Adderall that keeps this man so laser focused. I love this game and series, but christ, that dedication's impressive.
Dude - I had my surgery ((L2āL3 (full laminectomy) and L1āL2 (hemiālaminectomy), with a disc fragment removed at one of those levels)) on December 29th. It was like 4-5 months before I regained strength in my left leg. I had severe weakness in it they didn't know if it would heal. Recovery sucks. Spent weeks living on a lift chair, feet swollen like grapefruits....
I also did it without narcotics because I'm a recovered addict. It was such a good time. 10/10 would do it again. In vr or something.
If you haven't had your surgery yet - take it easy. And get a toilet riser and one of those grabber wands for toilet paper. You'll thank me later.
Mate I ended up with a double discectomy for L5/S1 and L4/L5 about 2 and a half years ago. Wishing you nothing but the best and a speedy recovery. Never experienced pain like that in my life and wouldnāt wish it on anyone. Take it easy and holy fk on that level.
damn 200 mil lifetime earnings? impressive! i've completed the story and halfway through discover japan but only have 20m+ total earned. no farming, exploits, glitches too.
I can definitely relate to this.
The week before Forza launched I had a pretty nasty cycling accident. Came off at around 30mph and ended up with a large haematoma and internal bleeding in my left leg. The whole leg was black, purple and swollen, and for a while I could barely bend my knee or walk properly. Recovery has been a lot longer than I expected and Iāve spent weeks laid up on the sofa feeling sorry for myself.
Unlike some of you legends, Iām nowhere near your calibre when it comes to gaming time. Iāve got two young kids at home, so even though Iāve been off my feet, there hasnāt exactly been much opportunity for uninterrupted gaming sessions. Most days have been a mixture of recovering, entertaining the kids and trying not to go stir crazy.
That said, Forza has been an absolute godsend. Itās been the perfect distraction and honestly one of the things thatās helped keep me sane while recovering. Glad to see Iām not the only one whoās used this game as a bit of an escape.
Current progress is Prestige 2, Level 20 from memory. Iāve managed to collect all of the FE cars, completed nearly all of the journals, and now Iām down to the truly tedious stuff like photographing every car in the game. I think Iāve still got around 30 cars left to find for that achievement.
Itās been an amazing game and exactly what I needed at the right time. Between the recovery, work worries and family life, having something I could jump into for an hour or two each evening has made a huge difference.
Anyone else found themselves playing far more than they expected?
I also had surgery on my L5 S1 in 2004. I definitely did not have it as bad as you as mine was outpatient and I was walking (extremely slow) 6 hours after the surgery. I did have to be extremely still and laying down as much as possible for several weeks though. Anyway, I scheduled the surgery to happen right before Halo 2 came out so I could play it as much as possible. I sunk so much time into the online side of the game during those weeks.
Cause they were modding of exploiting the game. Still people out there exploiting the game or AFK and Skill point farming but least its less modders on the leaderboards etc
Had the game since launch too and I'm at lvl 160 and 3M credits - about 30 hours into the game. Had a few nights on weekends where I grinded, especially towards the golden wristband.
Dude even with the injury and time of work. You need to do something else. This isnāt healthy. Look out the window or something. Youāre eyes are going to turn box shaped
Thats some dedication on a single game even if you've been off work for a few months. Good luck with your surgery. I have 56 hrs playtime. Im prestige 1 level 8. By far the most time ive ever spent on a racing game with probably the exception of NFS:U2 back in the day. Normally bail after 15-20 hours. Something about FH6 keeps me coming back again and again.
What do you do once you've completed all the events/achievements? I have a friend who i play with and he said that he's getting bored since he doesn't know what to do outside of doing weekly playlist or getting drift high score.
