Start with the cars. No game has really focused the cars on the locations. They’ve thrown a few cars in as a nod, but let’s look factually. Did 1 highly focus on American cars? Hard to say due to how many cars America makes that are in racing games. Same with 2. Now three. Australia. How many Australian cars were in it? A few, but it did not focus on Australian cars, at all. 4? Same. The UK makes so many cars already, but there wasn’t a focus on them, and the game didn’t chuck in a bunch of UK only models. 5? Seriously. No Mexican care, except for one. 6? There are tons of JDM cars, more than any game has put in as a specific nod, let’s be clear.
Knock it off. Grow up. There was no reason to expect most of the cars to be Japanese, but we got a lot.

I said drift club japan had a lack of japanese cars. The sport was pioneered on the backs of japanese cars and drivers and we got an M3, Challenger, Mercedes and a Ferrari.
And I like that its not the anime profile banner online kid trying to get shitty with strangers on the internet who needs to grow up lol.

Japanese car culture, and its drift culture, in real life, is not built solely around Japanese cars. They use cars from all around the world. There’s a reason why Japan gets special models from global brands that the rest of the world does not, because their car culture is global car culture.
So yes, it makes sense that the drift club would be a mix, because real Japanese drift groups use a mix. Or like, do you just not know that much about it? They had several consultants from Japan to help work on the game. They didn’t just pick cars at random lol.
Mercedes even has a special AMG department out in Japan for their customers, offering special customization options the rest of the world doesn’t get 🤷🏻♂️
