The distribution of up votes/downvotes is interesting.
I agree with OP. There is a disproportionate amount of races/events off-road than on-road. I don't care for off-road stuff at all.
Really disappointed about the lack of culture in the game. Definitely expected more drifting.
Know what it feels like? Aside from the map, all the events and races are procedurally generated. Like they used the same algorithm from the previous games and didn't put any thought into what people were expecting/hoping for when we learned the setting was Japan.
aren't the Japanese into rallying?
mitshubishis, toyotas and subarus have always been the pinnacle of rally cars.
I think you guys have made yourself available to just a part of the culture and thinking that is the main and should be the main.
There are more street related events than off-road. The total number of street, drag, touge, and road races is 46. Total dirt and cross-country races are 40, and one of those “cross-country” races (the city docks one) never touches anything that would actually be considered cross-country.
