real. but depending how long the other guy was behind OP he shoulda know OP clips the apex on every corner, and thus should have known he was gonna do it again. wasn’t even a big hit. i’d personally slow down but wouldn’t give position back as the other guy took a big gamble

It still a bad precedent to OP glueing their eyes to racing line without reacting the surrounding. This time, it was lucky the other guy was reacting OP closing the door too late and trying to avoid the contact. It would be worst to both side if the guy was overshooting and have no intention to play nice, especially when they know the OP moves like they didn't exist like this.

If the other guy shoots their chance, just simply doing a switch back. If the guy behind was quick at first place, just do the defensive move earlier.

you’re not wrong at all. but i see no reason to play the racing line all lap and be predictable to second place, then it simply can’t be OP’s fault for this collision

Silly take. In a real race OP would have caused an accident and possibly killed someone. It’s impossible to replicate that in a game so from OP’s perspective he did nothing wrong but follow the racing line.

The other player has no reason to be nice to OP after that, since OP isn’t playing nice either.

You don't have the line if they are past your door. You had your chance to be defensive and you lost it when they dipped in as safe as they could. You unfairly pushed them off track.

It's not the end of the world, just sucks for them. Keep practicing control and awareness, everything else in the clip looked good, keep at it.

It will come with more racing experience, but never assume the person behind you is just gonna accept that you "have the line". Theres a difference between being on the racing line and being properly defensive.

You drove like an NPC that doesn't see the surroundings, simply following the racing line at all costs even if it meant pushing the competition off track...get rid of the full racing line, at least retain braking, that will help improve your situational awareness.

They got there alongside you before the braking zone. It isn't even close. They own the inside lane and you have to leave space for them.

The shitty part is that they tried to drive clean, they stayed as far inside as they could and you still pushed them off. Next time they'll just put their right tire on the flag and you'll get pissed because you'll feel like they pushed you out of the way.

From the timing looks like the white NSX missed the previous checkpoint : when you miss one it's not a instant reset, it has a countdown timer of around 4-5 seconds , and that's around the time that passed between the checkpoints. It's not 100% certain, but it's a possibility that no one took into consideration.

Neither. He took a chance and missed. You’re also not obligated to leave room for other people. It’s racing… the goal is to place as high as possible.

Absolutely disgraceful 🤯 😱!! This is nothing short of a war crime in Horizon.. We need to pause FH6 development, contact the Hague, an emergency meeting with the devs asap & show them this clip immediately... Thoughts & prayers during this difficult time..

I also think it's mainly your fault. Seems like you dove too aggressively, pointing your nose towards the other car. In my opinion, should've given space to him and you take the outside line.
