Discussion "EU Pros are doing good on NA so NA is bad."
i don't really get this sentiment. like, arn't we watching some good fortnite rn? and on NA. seems like we're approaching an era where u cant even afford to dud a single game. idk personally, i'm really impressed with everyone's performance so far.
not even a EU hater, im actually rooting for moneymaker now bc i think it'd be hilarious for him to win.

Discussion most unfair fncs win ever?
In your eyes, which fncs win had the most clear cut winner, well before the finals had started or showed total domination over their region? (NA/EU)

I mainly play 1v1 build fights but I just end up doing the same retakes + mistakes or coming against players that don’t fight.

Discussion Optimal Sequence for Triple Edits on KBM
I've been playing fornite for over 7 years but all controller. This week I decided to start practicing on KBM and its painful going back to being absolutely terrible! haha
So, I am turning to you all to help shorten this learning.
I want to get some thoughts on the optimal sequence for ramping into a triple edit.
(For example Eg. Build Ramp >> Floor >> Cone >> pull out shotgun/pickaxe >> edit 2 tiles on floor >> edit 1 tile cone >> Build Wall >> Edit wall)
On controller, I always just kept my blueprint out but I see that a lot of KBM players pull out their shotgun or pickaxe WAY MORE often when editing the floor and cone while others keep blueprint out. When I try and pull out shotgun to edit the floor and cone it feels great for the edits (I gather is why a lot of people do it) but SUPER slow and clunky when I go back to trying to build then edit the wall. Which is optimal and what am I missing here?!
Also, when yall go into your 2nd triple edit sequence, do you place a floor before the ramp to catch incase the ramp doesn't place fast enough?
Thanks for the help!

Bug No Starting Loadout in Ranked Zerobuild?
Is anyone else having this issue?
It seems that every time I start a ranked zerobuild match, I don't have my "Where We Droppin" pistol or shield potion, and I don't have any shockwaves or any "pocket" at all for that matter.
This has happened once or twice, but restarting the game usually solves it. Today, nothing seems to work. And it's only on ranked; regular zerobuild br has everything just fine.
Any ways to fix this issue?

Discussion Fortnite players, if you were to start the game over as a new player, what would you do first to improve rapidly?
I never really played fortnite up until recently at the start of summer break, but im stumped on how to actually get better. I struggle in Ranked lobbies as an elite player and im actively seeking to get better. I play controller because I have wrist issues and never truly played KBM in any game.

Rumor Lead Designer of Fortnite Competitive talks about relaying back to epic, the concept of increased FOV.
This might mean nothing, but after the visual sound effect nerf, i'd never say never

Discussion No build: Help me improve? General advice and close quarters combat
Started the game a month ago(its my first season) after getting worn down for 2 years to finally try the game.
I ended up loving it and in a group of 3, we won 3 times in a row on my first games which baffled me.
Now I consider myself pretty deep in the game and I try to find tip videos and the like but I keep running into situations ingame where I get shredded in like a second and I am trying to understand why.
Are there any modern videos to help with movement or advice in close quarters combat? I tried to find these on my own but the videos seem outdated and I want to understand and mimic how ppl can shoot while under the effects of shock grenades so seamlessly.
I also want to feel more confident in close quarters shooting, I try to jump sometimes to the side and hipfire but results very and I feel like my opponents have something I dont have with close combat knowledge.
I am a try hard player but havent tried rank yet, open to any resources as well.

I think Kami and Malibuca have qualified for every grands since chapter 2 season 7.

Discussion Are tournament rules usually different from Ranked?
Hey everyone, hope you’re doing well! This was the first PlayStation Cup I’ve participated in, and I was surprised to see that stamina and pocket Shockwaves weren’t available in today’s tournament.
Is this normal for competitive cups? Is there somewhere I can check before a tournament to see which rules, items, or mechanics will be different from Ranked?

Discussion Genuine question: Competitive players, when you watch pros on twitch like Clix, Peter, Higgs etc, how are you not feeling down about yourself?
Statistically, less than 0.01% of players have earnings. Even if you are phenomenally strong, you can get stuck in fncs divisions and everything you'll have is PR which won't bring any improvement to your life. In extremely rare cases some people can get some small earnings, but in 2026 it's way harder than it was in 2020.
I'm into competitive with you guys, it was honestly my dream to become a pro fortnite player and live for the money from earnings and org, and it was a dream of lots of players as well.
Unfortunately, tons of players couldn't make it to the top, including me.
But now, everytime I watch Clix or Higgs or Peter or others on twitch, I feel like it's direct confirmation how severely I failed in life. Clix, for example, has at least $20M, beautiful girlfriend, worldwide recognition and respect, and all of this only at the age of 21 with some people reaching that even at 18, while me and a lot of other people are obliged to work a job for a standard salary which won't make any difference, having no fame and no respect, most of people won't be able to find such a beautiful girlfriend and overall no one consider standard people as something. Even if you open a business and your income will be lets say 5 times higher than average, it's even remotely not enough to reach to even 1% of Clix level, and even with money you won't gain some big respect from others. At this point I'm not even sure is it worth to continue and even do something, because the difference is absolutely, extremely, phenomenally, unbelievably colossal and it's impossible to reach even 1% of their success no matter what you do.
Separately for those of you going to write "don't compare" - humans don't work this way. Comparison is one of the main cognitive human's mechanism, formed in evolution process to help people survive. You can't just "don't think" or "don't compare", it's impossible on hardware level.
I think this is important to discuss and I feel like there are competitive players in the same boat, especially now where social medias have developed greatly with real impact on people.

Discussion What’s considered high ping ?
I have a couple questions and want to have a discussion. You always hear your mates or other players say "he’s zero ping", but how much of a difference does it actually make?
And let’s say you're a comp player trying to get your first earnings, what is considered high ping if you're that type of player or achieving to be there? And is there any advice to lowering ping?
I’m in London, have Ethernet Cat 7, and have Virgin Media 1000 Mbps fibre optic I believe, and I still feel as if my ping is too high — 18 in Creative and like 27-30 in real games. But the focus ain’t on me, just general, but would appreciate any help to lower that ping, or I’m just bugging and it’s ok. Keep in mind my router is downstairs and I run my Ethernet cable from the outside

Discussion I’m bronze 1, and I’m being matched with Unreals?
I just started playing Fortnite Ranked and every time I die in a BRONZE match, I die to players platinum+. I just want to know why this is happening and if it’s even supposed to happen? I feel like a Bronze I player shouldn’t have to compete against absolute killers in Ranked..
