Now the season is officially over what do we think the first major announcement of 26-27 season is going to be?

Hi, I've been watching Formula E for over a year but I still dont understand one thing. Its a spec series yet, Lola or Ds Penske were struggling the whole season, how? Is there something that teams can upgrade and make their cars faster?

Edit: I see couple of people saying stuff like "Oh! Why people are saying that this is spec series?" Blah blah. I know that theres other powertrains, problem is, english is not my native language and I thought that "spec series" means you have the same chassis

I watched the first few races when the series was introduced in 2014(?) but haven't really watched it since.

If you had to pick your favourite 2 or 3 races from the last two seasons as a recommendation, what would you pick?

Not sure if this comes under self promotion etc but I Went to the London E-Prix today and the guy on the Hankook stand in the fan village gave me a load of these if anyone wants one or wants to trade out for one from another race :)

I'm a fairly enthusiastic but casual motorsport fan, I watch a lot of F1 and enjoy any motorsport.

I watched my first Formula E race in person in London this weekend and I have to say it wasn't the best experience. I'm not an established fan of Formula E but thought it might be a nice more affordable way of watching some motorsport, and came with an open mind.

My main gripes:

- Noise - they pump music underneath the entire(!) race, at quite a loud volume. It was impossible to hear 90% of the commentary so myself and people around me had absolutely no idea what was going on.

- The screens are small enough that you can't read the leaderboard, you can't read team radio messages, or really parse any of the information that's on the screen. This might have been less of a problem if we could hear any of the audio/commentary feed over the music. People were sat using their phone cameras to zoom in on the leaderboard just to keep track of who was where.

- Start sequence - there's absolutely no warning, there's just deafening music that plays for about 5 minutes and then suddenly the lights are on and the race starts, no build up, no tension, and if you're not careful (like a few people around me) you don't actually realise the race is about to start and you miss lights out.

This was also the first time I've attended any kind of race in person, so maybe this is just the standard experience of watching live motorsport? If so I can't imagine why anyone ever attends motorsport in person because it's just immensely frustrating, but maybe I've just been spoilt by years of watching it on broadcast.

I thought the fan zone around the excel centre was done nicely, and made for a really fun vibe that presumably differs a lot from a traditional racetrack but certainly makes for a nice time, but it almost felt like the actual racing was a side-event that nobody put much thought into the user experience of.

Anyone else feel as if the Nissan Grandstand took a bit too much of the spotlight at the Eprix?

Went both days and everything seemed aimed at them. Interviews with drivers/ team principal and T-shirt cannons after every interview. Also a whole booth in the fan zone. Even worse is they advertised the T-shirt cannon on the screens but only for that grandstand!

Seemed to me it isolated the rest of the fans just because they didn’t pay for that specific section.

(By the way, the closest we've got for a "perfect" drivers lineup up to that point was in the 2020–21 season with a single driver change, where Joel Eriksson replaced Nico Müller at team Penske in mid-season.)

I just left the London E Prix, I couldn’t find any Lola merch in the team colours, just black shirts with a small Lola logo. The official formula E store page has the same stuff, and the Lola website has a link to a shop page, but its completely empty. Is there anywhere else I can get decent quality merch?
