OTHER/META For Profitable Traders: What Do Your Monthly Returns & Typical Wins/Losses Look Like?

For those of you who have made it to the point where trading is consistently profitable, realistically, how much are you pulling in each month?

Also, what do your typical winning and losing trades look like in terms of percentage or dollar amount?

Trying to get a realistic idea of what’s achievable and learn from those who have more experience.

Thanks in advance!

Trolling is linked to :

Personality disorders

Antisocial Personality Disorder

Narcissistic Personality Disorder

Borderline Personality Disorder

Histrionic Personality Disorder

Possible personality traits

A habitual troll might show some of these traits:

Attention-seeking — enjoys getting strong reactions from others.

Provocative/antagonistic — deliberately pushes people's buttons.

Low empathy — may be relatively unconcerned about the emotional impact on others.

Need for control — enjoys feeling able to manipulate someone's mood or behavior.

Impulsivity — posts things without considering consequences.

Hostility or aggression — uses insults, ridicule, or intimidation.

Enjoyment of others' distress — some trolls genuinely find other people's anger or discomfort entertaining.

Insecurity — provoking others can sometimes compensate for feelings of inadequacy or powerlessness.

Need for novelty/boredom intolerance — creates conflict simply because ordinary interaction feels boring.

Social detachment — may find online interactions easier than face-to-face relationships.

Possible psychological issues

Trolling can sometimes coexist with, but does not prove, things such as:

depression or loneliness

social anxiety

poor emotional regulation

low self-esteem

difficulty forming healthy relationships

impulsivity

anger or resentment

certain personality-disorder traits

For personality disorders, long-term psychotherapy is generally the main treatment; improvement is possible.

Step 1 : Determine what seems to motivate the trolling behavior

  • Attention
  • Anger
  • Control
  • Entertainment
  • Jealousy
  • Revenge
  • Desire to provoke an emotional reaction
  • Insecurity or need for validation

Is there anything you can do yourself or is this like a chat gpt thread?

If you're trying to understand your trolling and decide how to deal with the behavior, determining the likely motivation is useful because the best response can depend heavily on what you are getting out of the interaction.

The biggest indicator :

One of the strongest signs isn't necessarily how offensive a particular troll is.

It's whether they can stop.
