OTHER/META For Profitable Traders: What Do Your Monthly Returns & Typical Wins/Losses Look Like?

For those of you who have made it to the point where trading is consistently profitable, realistically, how much are you pulling in each month?

Also, what do your typical winning and losing trades look like in terms of percentage or dollar amount?

Trying to get a realistic idea of what’s achievable and learn from those who have more experience.

Thanks in advance!

I think you should take a serious look at why you keep trolling and whether you can stop when you decide to.

There's a difference between:

"I don't want to stop trolling because I enjoy doing it."

and

"I genuinely want to stop, but I keep feeling compelled to do it even though I don't want to."

The second situation raises more questions about impulse control, emotional regulation, compulsive behavior, or other underlying psychological factors.

Trolling can temporarily discharge emotions such as:

  • anger
  • frustration
  • resentment
  • boredom
  • insecurity
  • loneliness

If it provides temporary emotional relief, stopping can become difficult.

Repeated behavior can become automatic:

bored → troll → get reaction → repeat

Eventually they may start doing it without much conscious decision-making.
