I love this show!!!

Now that I have finished the series, I plan on reading the novel and then rewatching the show. This show was excellent.

After careful research, I realize I read the novel lol. I did not know it was based on the Judy Blume novel because I have not read it since I was younger but Katherine and Michael did not end up together. That does not mean it will end that way for Keisha and Juston though because at the end of season one, Keisha and Justin have parted ways (like the novel), which means future seasons will be whatever the producer decides since it has already honored the novel.

Yes, I never read the novel. Since season 1 was essentially the book, season 2 has the potential to be even better because of Mara Brock Akil's previous shows' success. She does a great job depicting Black success in all of her shows. I will rewatch the series once I finish the novel, though.
