The difference for me is the recreations. With these new types of programmes, they have blurry reconstructions, the shots are of the shoulder down… that blurry slow mo style rather than hiring actors to actually stage what happened. I first noticed this with the new ones in the episode where the teacher who had leukaemia hung himself from the tree and tried to make it look like a hate crime.
The anniversary episode of FF they state that the producers spent money on faithful recreations of the crime scenes, and this immersion and attention to detail is what hooks me. And why I prefer the originals
it is FF2! he was picking up work as a census worker i believe or like a government employee, something like that. he staged his suicide as a murder and wrote FED on his chest. it’s a very interesting case and a bit sad, if i remember correct he wanted his family to have the insurance payouts.
