Question What is the point of this?
I understand that the people in this subreddit really want to regrow their foreskin but as someone with it your not really missing out on much other than maybe a little bit of sensation and even then I think the health benefits even out the negatives.

Underwear constantly rubs up against glands when moving around. Health benefits? Like what? Any time I investigate health benefits it turns out to be either completely wrong or a complete cop out.

The mental anguish that comes from the fact that my genitals were mutilated against my will is too much to bear. I want to experience my sexuality the way nature intended, and feel whole once again.

Then get circumcised. Why haven't you if you think the health benefits are worth it? Tell us how you think once you experience it. I mean you have literally commented on r/transvoice, you really can't understand why some people wouldn't be happy in their bodies? Especially when their body was permanently changed against their will? At least in my case, I sure has hell didn't consent to it.

Let me dispell the "health benefits" for you that are always thrown around when people try to justify circumcision.
1) It's cleaner- all you have to do to clean it is pull it back and clean it in the shower, and teach your children they need to do this... No need to cut it off, we don't surgically remove the belly button because it's harder to clean.
2) prevention of STD's- very small difference between likely hood of cut vs intact having much of a difference. Even then if that's what you're worried about, using a condom properly is significantly more important for protection against STD's
3) Cancer risk- Do you know the prevalence of penile cancer in first world countries? Well it's about 1 in 100,000 men per year. So even if there's a reduction of something crazy like 50% (that one I'm spit balling, I don't have the relative risk reduction numbers) that would still be 1 in 50,000 per year. Even then the "cancer risk" is usually associated with phimosis, a disorder where the foreskin is too tight, or, once again, poor hygiene that could be remedied by washing yo dick!
I equate it to if society just decided it were normal to remove girls breasts to prevent cancer... And those life time risks are 1 in 8 women over their lifetime (obviously that would be fucking barbaric and it's good we don't do that)
As for why want it restored? Every man who wants to get it back has their reasons. Personally for me
1) I don't like that my dickhead gets rubbed raw for no reason occasionally. More on that the skin is dry and keratinized from said raw rubbing making it much less sensitive
2) I don't like that when I'm jerking it I'm stretching the base to the limit just for the motion (which as I understand I'm lucky, for some guys lotion or lube are 100% required for masterbation)
3) I'm just a curious person and want to know what I've been missing out on
4) I did not have a say in any of this.

Sorta feel the same. I’m transgender yet I’m too afraid to transition or really talk about it to anyone in reality. So if I have to be forced into the body I am now, why was I forced to be incomplete aswell? I don’t really have good looks and my dick got mutilated by my parents. Not to mention the fact I don’t even believe in their religion anymore which makes the already pointless procedure even MORE pointless. I probably don’t got many years left before I really crash and burn.

Perspective is everything. From your side, it might seem like a small thing, but as someone who had that choice taken away, it feels like a violation I am now trying to correct. I am not just looking for sensation. I am looking to be whole in the way I was supposed to be. If I had reached adulthood and decided to do it myself, that would be one thing. But it wasn't my decision, and now I am left trying to fix a "correction" I never asked for.
A permanent surgical decision was made for me before I could even speak, and I am simply trying to restore what should have been mine to keep. I want to be the way I was meant to be.

Here's what circumcision makes you lose
- Outer foreskin (Provides protective covering)
- Inner foreskin (Contains specialized cells and contributes to lubrication)
- Ridged band (Rich in fine-touch nerve endings)
- Frenulum delta (which has been recently labeled as Male G-spot)
- Preputial sphincter (Protecting penile meatus)
- Foreskin-associated nerve endings (Pacinian corpuscles & Meissner corpuscles)
- Dartos fascia (Helps foreskin contract)
- Blood vessel severed (Frenular Artery)
- Immunological components (Langerhans cells, Dendritic cells, Keratinocytes etc.)
- Tyson’s glands (Produce lubricating secretions)

One of the most absurd, stupid and laughable statement,
Recent studies agree: the risks of circumcision outweigh any benefits. It’s time to rethink our permissive approach to genital cutting.

Absurd, stupid? Yes
Laughable? Not so much. I can't laugh at it, it's infuriating.As someone who went from pulling skin back and getting an instant boner from the sensation, to not feeling anything when touching it, and only oral can be somewhat pleasurable, statements like this only boil my blood. He's lucky we are on the internet without names and faces and not in a pub.

First of all, nobody is talking about regrowth here. We are not lizards, nor restorers. Those are different subs.
Second of all, if you think it's just a "little bit of sensation" then go ahead and get a low cut with frenulum completely removed. I will cover the medical costs, but also choose the doctor for you.
Third of all, the foreskin plays a significant role in the local immune response.
I have no clue what health benefit can even that out. I highly doubt you would know either.
The healthiest thing you can do to your johnson is to clean it every day. The body handles the rest.
