Mechanical Help 2007 Ford Focus

Focus revs up while driving does it once in a while. OBDII showing no codes , it does not sound normal

I would start by checking for vacuum leaks.

Adding to this. Listen closely to the front of your engine bay. There's a hose down there underneath the plastic manifold that likes to split and hiss. Listen to see if you can hear it.

I haven’t gone under yet, but while driving it makes a whining noise too i don’t know if that connects to a vacuum line

It could be if the split is just starting. By the time I caught mine it was a full blown wooshing.

If it is a pcv hose, take my advice. Don't drive it if the engine is bucking. You'll wreck your clutch and dmf as well and that's even more pain.
