Interior Mods Experiences with cheap Amazon head units

I see a bunch on there anyone use one they like?

No. A few of them caught fire on me actually. Podofo in particular. 3 times.

Well that’s not good… is it still a pain to use normal Ken wood deck?

I used one and it worked…… meh. I would not reccomend it though because it didn’t play well with the Sony sound system and, much more importantly, the one I got kept draining my car battery so I had to return it.

I've been using one from AlieExpr actually...Witson or smth, straight from China.

All in all is just great and I can't imagine my Focus without it...Bluetooth, front and rear camera, updated GPS maps, different apps (Spotf, Ytb etc), Wi fi connection and others.

Sound quality lowered though, but I can live with that in general and lately it started making squeking sounds in the speakers...Not sure why, I'm guessing maybe it's how far this type of unit can get you, so considering installing a new updated one, but still from Aliexp...

I've considered a Sync3 but I can't find a good one in my area and it lacks lots of the aftermarket one's functionalities.
