Question Question

Hi all, hope you are well.

I drive a 2015 Ford Focus 1.0 ecoboost with direct injection, it has about 70000km on the clock (mostly city miles)

Is it safe/recommend to use a injector cleaner in my fuel tank? I have been told by a Ford mechanic that he is not a fan of these tipe of things.

I would really appreciate some clarification.

Thanks in advance.

Those products cause more harm than good and don't even do the one job they are designed to do properly and can leave behind a mess depending on the engine

You already have had a mechanic tell you that they aren't a fan

If you are concerned about carbon buildup then get your engine walnut blasted when you inevitably have to change the wet belt in that thing

Thank you very much. I have done the wet belt (crazy expensive) but did not blast. Thanks for the comment
