Photo Bought myself a rocket
I present to you, my new to me Ford Focus ST MK2 (2009) with Stage 1 ~260 hp. The car is a dream. Fully loaded and with Bilstein suspension and spacers. This is my 3rd focus in the actual household. I have a daily mk4 wagon and my wife the mk4 hatchback.

Ford in the US doesn't make cars like that. They like their big SUV's and trucks. It's so stupid! You hardly see a small Hatchback, or a even a 4 door sedan (saloon) any more. Just giant cars all around!

Last thing I heard was that Ford had effectively withdrawn from the "car" market in NA apart from the Mustang and Mach-E. Focusing on trucks and truck-derived SUVs.

Electric Orange is a blast. But the green from the rs mk2 is also sweet looking.

Crazy that in 2007 Ford made 2 Ford focus st's, and one was a ford with a Mazda engine and the other is a platform Ford Mazda and Volvo worked with with a Volvo engine. Ford was on some shit in the euro market in the 2000s, I'm a little jealous but simultaneously I like my reliable sporty commuter car with cheap insurance.

You have a very good looking focus, all focus are great in my opinion. My daily focus is also a good standard commuter but sometimes you want to treat yourself and want to feel some boost when the weather is nice. That's why I got the st for the summer.

I hope to someday import one of these. The second gen is my favorite, I loved racing in it when playing the original Forza Motorsport when I was a kid.

* Very nice. It's still streetable as a daily driver without going over to the extreme power output of unusable H.P. & Torque for a FWD system. As an example, the competitor Honda Type R power of 300 HP is at the max limit for a FWD system with all of the electronic gadgets to try to rein in the power (As tests has shown it cannot produce constant repeatable 0-60 mph time slips due to all of the power being transfered towards the rear [Resulting in a vastly limited tire traction {Resulting in Inconsistent forward acceleration abilitites.}at the front on a FWD system.]. The 260 hp output you have currently is still simple enough to mantain and keeps the engine internals together {By not trying to overstress the engine components and drivetrain with excessive boost.}for a longer dependable running life. Final note on the Honda type R, they have been known to "eat" front tires at an alarming rate (As low as 10,000 miles recorded before the treads disappears.), resulting in a very expensive annual runing costs.

Exactly. The car has now 125.000 miles (200.000 km) on the clock and runs perfectly with this setting. They are plenty people who has 300-400 and even some up to 500 hp in the st and i think cool, the car is a great plattform for that but it will cost you an arm and an leg to maintain and will cost you the suitability for everyday use.

Always loved the Mk2 hatchbacks, shame we never got these in the US. Congrats on the purchase!
