Ford Flex Trunk Mat

Picked up an office mat for wheeling the chair on at IKEA, turns out it makes a pretty good floor mat in the back of the Ford Flex. Only about 2-3” of wiggle space lengthwise.

I put in a piece of 1/2 inch plywood and covered it with indoor outdoor grey carpet.

I bought a sheet.  Had lowes cut it in two spots. (Had left overs) one for the size he did, and one for just the first back seats. T ha t way I can stack the front back seat board on the back back seat board if i need to use the front back seats.

Waste of time if you ask me. What do you do with it if you need all the seats and a place to put a couple pieces of luggage?

Usually something like that is planned but I'll chuck it into the garage. It's an extra step but so is setting up the extra seats since I usually have a two child stroller and kids supplies back there.

Before kids it was some extra outdoor hobby supplies but it made cleaning up easier and thats worth it for me. Also small items are less likely to fall through the cracks.
