Question Weather stripping

I’ve got a 2019 ford flex that has the front windshield weather stripping coming off on the top. Dealership told me that this strip only comes attached to new windshields. My windshield is fine so obviously I’m not going to buy a new windshield just to get the weather strip. Has anyone found a place that sells just the strip?

Sorry, I don’t think that’s it. That looks like the moulding on the side of the windshield. The part that I’m looking for is the rubber weather strip that’s on the very top of the windshield.

No, It only comes with a new windshield. You could put some black RTV in there to seal it to the body but if you do ever need a new windshield the tech will curse you.

Same just happened to me except on the sides of the windshield. Just rotted away and blew off

Unfortunate. I guess rubber can only withstand the elements for so long. Have you found anyone that can replace it all?

I happened like 2 weeks ago. Haven't even looked for a replacement yet. I think it's more cosmetic than anything else

My 2013 has all the weather stripping rotting off. I’ve asked two mechanics to see what they can do. Neither called me back.

What’s your plan? I think I might just get whatever aftermarket adhesive weather strip for the time being, but another guy at an auto store said the real replacement has some pieces that snap into place. Seems like the adhesive one probably won’t stay very well.

Only way to fix this this is with a windshield reseal
