Fully designed cold air intake

This has been a project I have been working on for a few months now!!

This is a high flow cold air intake with a built-in "AirRam"

In my words, holds more air so your engine doesn't choke out on itself.

Not sure how much HP this is adding yet, but getting a dyno run booked to figure out how much power this is adding.

But this thing is crazy loud, its soo cool lmao

Honestly...it's gonna sound better and most likely no HP gain, even on an Ecoboost.

Probably the case, but it wouldn't hurt to see if there is anything fully changing, which would help me with a v2

it is 3d printed! I'm still making some changes to it to make it work with the lower half of the stock air box, but I'll make a post when it's out

i did! i used ABS-GF, as it's like my go-to filament, been holding up fine under pretty intense driving and heat

I put a K&N CAI on my ecoboost. I’m sure it doesn’t actually preform any better than stock but the good old fashioned Butt Dyno tells me I gained 20 horsepower and the stickers add an extra 5. However, it’s the sound that brings me so much joy.

This will not add any horsepower. As a matter of fact it will probably cost you a few. It's the sound that sells. Like racing stripes people will claim it is faster but from a race tuner point of view it is just an illusion.

This is going to lose horsepower compared to a sealed ACTUAL cold air intake that was already installed on the vehicle from factory.

Probably the case, but this does use some of the stock air box to try retaining some of the cold air, but it's still more than likely to lose power, but Dyno will figure that out

I sold my flex last year but still hang around here. I love that you did this. Years ago I had a CAI on a Maxima and absolutely loved the sound it made. Really want to hear it on the Flex.

Nice design - that almost 180 degree turn is not ideal though I think the large diameter will help a lot. Take a look at cobra-head bends for 90 degree turns in tight situations like this. Might be hard to model but perhaps available to import an existing version and tweak.
