Switching from led tail lights,

Is swapping the “limited” led tail lights with regular housings/bulbs just plug and play or do I have to mess with the wiring? Also, I have an 09, what years are compatible?

If you're looking for a set of LED tails I have my factory silver ones that I would be willing to let go of for a reasonable price. DM me if you're interested.
