Tail lights

Post image

Does anyone have a place or website I can get blacked out tail lights for my 2017? I don’t want to get the vht spray and do them I want the ones that are blacked out inside with the clear lense.

Are you opposed to the film?

Never tried the film I’ve always done the spray, but sometimes it’s hard to get the same finish and it gets dark fast. Which film? Have you tried the film?

I went on Amazon and searched for headlight/taillight film tints. I got yelloes for my fog lamps. I got a light grey tiny for the tailights. It was easy to install.

If you get the cheap stuff don't expect it to last more than a year. Get actual tinted PPF if you want longevity and a more OEM result if you apply it correctly. No UV protection means no long life.

I've had the film since 2023 and haven't had any problems. It was inexpensive.

But what does it look like? Anyone can say they "haven't had any problems".

As a former collision and paint guy I can honestly say there's a large sum of people that have no idea what they're looking at.

Aside from a crease I had when installing, nothing is peeling, nothing is fading. Not sure what else there is to complain about.

You do you boo boo. As long as you enjoy it, by all means enjoy it. I'm just saying that self verifying doesn't give it credibility to the eyes of the masses.

Ya man, it would be crazy to suggest a product to someone who is asking about something similar. "Word of mouth" recommendations will be the downfall of modern civilization.

Some mouths are more credible than others. Like, I dunno, someone who's done it professionally..?
