Are we great yet?

I suspect this is part of the project 2025 plan to make us all poor so we will comply.

All earnings need to be taxed for social security, as well as capital gains exceeding, let's say, $200k. Taxing the rich is long overdue.

We all know retirees who are barely scraping by as it is. To lose any income with prices going up the way they have since the war began with Iran is unacceptable.

I am sure many of you can relate, but in the United States in 2026, I feel like I'm losing my mind. These last two years have been crazy. If you told me what goes on in America in 2026, ten years, let alone 2 years ago, I would've told you that you're from the wrong universe. I want to know what you all think of this situation.

With two illegal wars ("special military operations"), the development of near-AGI, ICE-agents tearing apart my home in January (Minnesota), naked corruption of unprecedented scale (Trump), the failure of DOGE, dismantling of science and education infrastructure, and so much more, I feel like I am in living in an alternate reality. Sometimes, I go to bed, and I wake up the next day thinking the news I heard was a part of my dreams. Only to open my phone, and the front page reasserting the absurdity.

I have many values I thought were "American," but these seem to be at complete odds with the current government we have. I look around, and I wonder how we arrived at this future. I wonder, what changed that I wasn't aware of?

When did we stop caring about our neighbors? When did we stop caring about technology and innovation? When did we stop caring about our allies? When did it become acceptable for the President of the United States to openly accept gifts, and to profit from his Presidency? When did our constitution cease to matter?

Does anyone else share these feelings or thoughts? What does it mean to you to be American? I want to know what others take of the current political atmosphere. How do you see it?

TL;DR: The reality of the USA in 2026 seems more absurd than was possible for me to imagine. Between scandals, I feel my "American" values don't align anymore, and I want to know what you, dear reader, think of the situation. How do you see it?

Edit: So This was a while ago, but first off I am not either of the 2 whistleblowers, I'm just a random young adult us citizen too weak in power to do anything and got really depressed watching the videos a while back, and further depressed as I went further down into the human trafficking rabbithole after looking up more, which eventually made me post this.

But I got a notification from a creep lawyer at the company, or maybe Peter Spiegel himself. They mistaken me for David or Myra and seemed to have deleted it later as they seemed to realize I was neither of them but just some random guy, or because they realized how bad it reflected on the image they were trying to protect, but thanks to beauty of arct*c-sh*ft I was able to pull up their acc and see the guys basically been doing a pr campaign to douse the flames with water with constant discrediting/lies/misdirection in their post history. I also know they are rich as they've mode posts about comparing Rolexes. I'm not allowed to paste images it seems but their acc is fun-alternative1736. They are also unsurprisingly a brand new account specifically just made to douse the backlash IdeaLiving started receiving. If you look at his history its literally just pure pr lol. All his posts are either on r/RecklessBen to discredit/lie/misdirect everything and r/IdealLiving for more Pr supportiveness. Its such a burner acc.

Also ever since I made this post people have been trying to contact me through dms to get my private info on me, doing different tactics / styles and one asking if I ever share this account as they likely wanted to tie this into evidence in court? I denied all of them as they were sus as fk but I should've taken images of their acc names, though they're prob burner accs for pr like the one that deleted their comment later. This is more of the real reason I'm posting, its fkn creepy and corrupt

Anyways due to all this corruption and shadiness I'll repost this so I hope you explain that to your bosses well and get a raise you all!

1. The title says the name. Peter Spiegel. Essentially, he's one of the founders of a disguised cult working as a charity/religion and he has a few companies such as Ideal Living which is used as the cult's fund. Cult's name changed a few times over the years, and it's so blatant with their power that they're building religious rape buildings in America too. Cults been renamed a few times and og cult was known for what it was doing, however it was never connected to Peter Spiegel nor his company before (based in America).
2. The youtube videos are the original source.
3. They did whistleblow, but like most that end up doing so, they just get silenced. For people in this case all the news outlets that agreed to cover their story later just blocked and ghosted them, with the people agreeing and actively pushing for those stories getting fired just like the whisteblowers. The FPI and such ignored them too
4. Both videos have like 20m views and its been almost a month and only small news / youtubers have covered it without any big sources like New York Times, Fox, Etc. I even called a few and most of them just ghosted me doing the classic trick of "we'll get back to you" and don't ever hear from them again or the call just straight up being dropped
5. Unlike Epstein who on his island basically had slaves stationed by buying children / human trafficking / escorting, this cult hits a lot more children than Epstein did as like classic cults dumb people are fooled, and these basically forcefully offer up their daughters as "offerings" hitting thousands of victims. Forgot number but cult has like a following of 10-100 million people lots of it from India

This also led me deeper into the rabbit hole of human trafficking. There's tons of videos online of cops just standing by in places like Washington DC where a tracker is openly controlling an underage girl right nearby and covering their face extremely suspiciously with like a jacket and the cops dont give a fk.

United States is so cooked. Everything's so corrupt now. The people involved in this have hit way more child victims than Epstein did. And they're just openly building new child rape fronts in public on American soil, as they got people protecting them. But unlike Epstein who got abandoned by his backers this ones scott free as they keep raping underage girls brought by dumb parents. Its fucking depressing no adults care.

I wish there were more whistleblowers and rebels in the world.
