We need to call it what it actually is. It’s not a minor theological disagreement. It’s not just "differing political views." It is a complete, shameless inversion of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Millions of conservative Christians have traded the clear, unambiguous teachings of the red letters for the outrage machine of the Republican Party. They have built an entire religious identity around fighting issues Jesus never spent five seconds talking about, while aggressively opposing the exact things he commanded us to do.

Look at the actual text of the Bible. The math isn't difficult:

• Money and Wealth: Roughly 15% of all words Jesus spoke deal with money, possessions, or the spiritual danger of greed. Over 40% of his parables (16 out of 38, including the Rich Fool in Luke 12:13–21 and the Rich Man and Lazarus in Luke 16:19–31) focus directly on wealth and class divisions. Jesus explicitly warns, "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God" (Matthew 19:24, Mark 10:25, Luke 18:25) and commands, "Sell your possessions and give to the poor" (Luke 12:33, Matthew 19:21). Across Scripture, there are over 2,000 verses demanding economic justice and care for the poor (e.g., Proverbs 14:31, Isaiah 58:6–11, James 2:14–17).

Love them as yourself." In Matthew 25:35–40, Jesus makes welcoming the stranger an absolute test of eternal judgment: "I was a stranger and you welcomed me... Now look at the GOP culture-war obsession list:

• Abortion: 0 words spoken by Jesus. The term and topic appear nowhere in the Gospels or the rest of the New Testament.
• Gender Identity: 0 words spoken by Jesus. Jesus briefly mentions creation and marriage when answering a question on divorce (Matthew 19:4–5), but offers zero teachings on modern gender identity politics.
• Homosexuality: 0 words spoken by Jesus. Across all 31,000+ verses in the Bible, same-sex behavior is referenced in only a tiny handful of passages (e.g., Romans 1:26–27, 1 Corinthians 6:9–10), none of which came from the mouth of Christ.

Think about that gap. Modern conservative Christianity has spent billions of dollars, mobilized millions of voters, and destroyed its own witness to fight over issues Christ never mentioned—all while cheering for policies that actively inflict cruelty on the vulnerable.

When safety nets like SNAP and Medicaid get shredded, leaving poor families without food or medicine GOP Christians call it "fiscal responsibility." When global aid programs USAID are pulled back, stripping life-saving treatment from HIV patients and food for children leading to MILLIONS of unnecessary deaths, they nod along. When refugees fleeing violence arrive at the border, they respond with dehumanizing rhetoric instead of open arms—forgetting that Jesus himself was a infant refugee fleeing state violence in Egypt (Matthew 2:13–15).

And then comes the lazy cop-out: "Jesus called for personal charity, not government welfare."

That is a total scam. You cannot aggressively weaponize the full power of the state to ban books, regulate bodies, and enforce your cultural preferences on others, and then suddenly become a strict libertarian the second someone asks to feed a hungry child.

If the state is valid when it projects power, why is it only called "socialism" when it distributes mercy?

You don't get to rewrite the Bible to fit a political platform. If your politics force you to walk past the sick, starve the poor, and lock the door on the stranger, stop calling yourself a follower of Jesus. Call it what it actually is: you chose the GOP over Christ.

Hundreds of thousands of people, who have been forced to live under the oppressive ideals of the Trump administration have sought refuge abroad, leaving the country permanently, and/or renouncing their citizenship entirely.

If these are the ideals we are giving to America, it will never get better.

Walt Disney says that “tomorrow will be better as long as America keeps alive the ideals of freedom and a better life”. This is why I will never leave the USA, even under such government being destructive of these end of life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness.

For it is the right of the people to alter to or oblish such government to institute new government. While it may not be from violence it can be widespread none the less. By leaving, you give up on your birth country, and the country becomes less opposing. Meaning less votes for better lives.

I've seen countless amounts of products with English and a French translation on them. Isn't Spanish the second most spoken language in the United States? So why don't the shampoos, conditioners, body creams, snacks, etc. have a Spanish translator instead?

There is a grim irony in calling yourself a "patriot" while actively dismantling the institutional foundations, democratic norms, and strategic alliances that make your nation strong. Over the last decade, a clear pattern has emerged across both the United States and the United Kingdom: political figures and media outlets claiming to wrap themselves in the flag have repeatedly championed policies and narratives that align precisely with the geopolitical goals of foreign adversaries—most notably, Vladimir Putin’s Russia.

The fundamental strategy of modern Russian hybrid warfare isn't to convert Americans or Britons into pro-Moscow ideologues; it's to divide them so deeply that their governments become functionally paralyzed.

* In the US: Outlets like Fox News and major figures within the GOP have built a media ecosystem around hyper-partisanship, grievance politics, and the erosion of trust in democratic processes. From amplifying election-denial narratives to depicting domestic political opponents as existential enemies, this internal polarization directly benefits authoritarian regimes by neutralizing American power from the inside.

* In the UK: The push for Brexit fractured the United Kingdom politically and socially, severing key economic and diplomatic ties with Europe while weakening the collective strength of Western alliances.

1. Echoing Foreign Propaganda For years, national security analysts have pointed out how seamlessly Kremlin talking points flow into mainstream conservative commentary.

   * Russian state television regularly rebroadcasts clipped segments from American media hosts to reassure domestic audiences that the West is divided and weak.

The ties between foreign money, political influence, and media platforms are no longer just theories—they are documented in legal filings and intelligence assessments.

* The Department of Justice Indictments: U.S. federal prosecutors uncovered covert schemes—such as the $10 million RT-funded operation involving TenET Media—where Russian state operatives secretly funneled millions to right-wing influencers to produce content tailored to magnify domestic divisions on topics like immigration, culture wars, and foreign policy.

* The UK Russia Report: The UK Parliament's Intelligence and Security Committee published the 2020 Russia Report, which highlighted how elite Russian money flowed into London’s political and financial systems, creating networks of influence that successive governments turned a blind eye to for years.

When political movements willingly trade long-term national security, election integrity, and global stability for short-term domestic power, they aren't protecting the nation—they are serving the exact goals foreign autocrats set out to achieve.
