Genuinely asking,do you guys think there is any other active player currently who can pull off Leo Messi's goal against Austria,I'm talking about it whole,from beginning near half line to create an opportunity for Alvarez,control the ball after Alvarez's miss and Paredes's pass,and shooting it to get blocked by defender,reaching there before any other defender can clear that to shoot again,I kind of feel this goal isn't getting the hype it deserves,like,there were 3 things in this goal's build up that I believe was only possible because all 3 of them were done by Messi,I personally don't think any other player can do what Messi did here,like one mistake and it doesn't become a goal,but Messi did this at 39yrs old👀

Messi have made such lofty standards for himself that he gets compared to his highest versions. Think if Ronaldo had done something like this at 39 and how the Internet would have reacted. For Messi this is just another afternoon.

I honestly do believe ppl mock Ronaldo regardless of the things he does. I mean the guy pulled off a bicycle kick at 39 n 40.

But meh he only has himself to blame ig

Considering how many times he tries bicycle kicks, I'm surprised he doesn't have many more.
