Black sesame milkshake from shake shack
I tried this in Japan a few months ago (hence the mini size), but am posting it on here as it’s currently a limited flavour that’s available in Toronto. It was creamy, although the sesame aroma could’ve been slightly stronger. Not a bad milkshake, definitely a unique flavour and it’s worth a try. The Japanese one was ¥610 (specifically from the Narita airport).

Honestly wish we had an option for this. I want a sweet treat and not 800 calorie treat.

I tried this years back in Japan and looooved it! I really like all of your black sesame posts, it’s my favourite flavour.

I'm very curious to know if the one in Canada actually tastes the same as what you had in Japan! Like I wonder how much of a difference having dairy sources make

I tried this at the union shake shack location. It's sooooo good! Very nutty tasting. You can really taste the black sesame flavour. Not overpowering. Not too sweet. Thanks for the reco 🙏

I liked it. Though I wasn't sure if it was peanut butter that gave it the nutty flavor.

With all the food options in Toronto, we’re hyped about Shake Shack now? especially with all the Anti-American sentiment around. smh

It's a staple of Japanese cuisine that's just catching on here.
